When you get there, you have to use a machine to check in, there’s literally no human individual to welcome you in, not one soul. They didn’t offer clean service, at all. We stayed two nights, and though the hotel room was very nice and clean the breakfast sucked!! They only offer coffee, pastries, fruit, cheese and yogurt. I felt like blah… wouldn’t book here again. Excellent stay here, 3 minute walk from the train station. Beautiful views. The staff who I believe were the owners went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They go the extra mile prepping breakfast. Would recommend to any of my family members or friends.

Absolutely recommend this hotel if staying in a Engelberg. The hotel was a great place to spend two nights in Engelberg and is located in the center of town, about a 3 minute walk from the train station and a 12 minute walk to the cable car up to Mount Titlis (free shuttle from the train station if preferred). My room had a lovely balcony complete with flowers and a great view. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were both very friendly. I hope to get the chance to stay at this hotel...
