"Great hotel, very clean. Convenient location."

"Needed a short stay for the weekend and Econolodge seemed decent enough as I was not planning to spend much inside the room. I chose a non smoking room but it wreaked of cigarettes. Upon inspecting the sheets, I noticed a bunch of stains/spots that looked like bedbugs stains. The Sherpa blanket had some sort of hard permanent stains. Pillow cases was almost yellow. The head board had handprints all over it. Bottom bed frames had splashes of white white water stain. Ironing board had white crustings all over it. I wore white disposal house sandals and in just a few minutes of walking around, it was black. It was so bad that I couldn’t get myself to stay the night and decided to drive back home to Boston and drive back to RI in the morning for a family member’s funeral. Front desk was not empathetic about my concerns but instead gave off annoyance. They were nice enough to refund me for the “pet stay” fee and Expedia did the right thing and refunded me."

"My flight was late arriving but the shuttle still picked me up and staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good. "

"This is a beautiful hotel converted from an old mill. The staff was not only courteous but downright friendly. Two days after I had checked in Adam saw me in the elevator and wished me a good morning by name. The dining room was elegant and the clam chowder just loaded with clams. My only complaint is that most of the LiveTV channels were offline, but HBO, Netflix and other streamers come with the room. Parking is in an open lot across the street. I will go back if I have further business up in Providence. "

"The staff were respectful and accommodating. Checked in at my room in the evening. Everything was clean and orderly no smells, quiet hallways. The next morning I went to shower there was hair on the tub floor and stains on my towel. It wasn’t to the point of unbearable nastiness but stuff I shouldn’t be looking at while checking into a hotel. Other than that my stay was calm and pleasant. "
