Great place to be with family and friends .

We enjoyed the time we spent there everything is clean and the views are incredible . We spent new years eve but definitly coming back on summer time and enjoy all the activities . The cabin is so comfortable it takes away the need for smarphones (there is 5g wifi )and makes you relax, i need a time away from all the noise and stress from.the city this us the perfect spot for it . If you love to drive you will have fun getting there the roads and views are amazing.

Owner withheld security deposit funds

Owner charge for a refueling boat fee. Told him that was not in the contract and to refund me. I was not refunded. I read through all the terms and conditions and the contract and it was not there. Simply never could find the marina for refueling. Owners response implied I was petty for asking for my money back. That’s not correct though. I call it unfair taking advantage of our security deposit however, no matter what the price is. Interested parties should be aware. Deck was dirty needs to be power washed. Was told to bring own TP. Had no paper towels. Grill was very dirty upon arrival.

A great fall getaway

The pictures do not do the house justice! The bathrooms and showers/tubs were all so clean. The views were incredible. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was comfortable and cozy, we will definitely be back!

Nice location but had some big issues

This house was listed as waterfront with a private boat dock. Due to the water draw down for sewer work, the lake was lower than usual and the house was no longer accessible by boat. The dock was unusable and no one was renting boats. Not only did the rental company not disclose this proactively, but I specifically asked about the water level and was told it should be fine. While I understand they can’t control the level of the lake water, we did not feel they were being transparent. We paid a premium for waterfront with lake access we did not have. The master bed also collapsed multiple times during our stay (after sending someone to repair it twice) making for a miserable night’s sleep 4 nights in a row. They did issue a partial refund at my request, which we appreciated. The house was in a good location (too bad about the water) and the separate cabin worked well. This would be a nice property had the lake been at normal levels and had we been able to rent a boat as expected. I really don’t understand how the bed in the master was so poorly made that we ended up at a 45 degree angle every morning - that was really crazy!

Lake Lure-Lure Me

The property was beautifully situated on Lake Lure. It was perfect for my family. My issues are with the management company. They sent me an incorrect t code for the front door. Fortunately, another door was unlocked so we could get in. There were two repair problems that were not handled before we arrived, so they had to be dealt with while we were there. One was taken care care. The plumping issue, low water pressure in the kitchen and master bath sinks, was looked at by the plumper, but he was unable to do anything about it. I understand that our visit was over a holiday, but the company should have been more on top of this, I believe.

Beautiful place!

The view is spectacular! The place is a perfect get away. Lovely view, great hiking in the area and peaceful getaway spot. The canoes weren’t there when we got there but they were delivered as soon as they could! The house had everything we could want- well equipped and nicely furnished. Thank you for letting us stay!

Lake Lure Paradise

Great Property with lots of deck space and small beach area ideal for kids and dogs playing in the water. Big Feature is private separate cabin up some stairs away from main lodge gives extra space and privacy from a busy day on the water.
