"Overall stay was ok. A few issues were we were not aware that people were staying below us and they enter via the same carport (making this known in the description when booking would be more professional). Also mould away cleaning supplies were below the sink which we thought was spray and wipe and ruined sole clothing (this should be kept in the laundry as guest don’t need access to this). Top oven would not work at all, after two hours trying it just wouldn’t heat up and we had to throw the food out we were trying to cook. The following day contacted the owners and they said to send a photo of it which we did and they never got back to us so again couldn’t use the oven and the food we had went to waste. Very poor response and communication from the Stay AU staff. Front door wouldn’t close properly and you had to use the key to dead lock the top lock to even get it to stay shut, this information would be helpful to know before check in. We left the house unlocked a few times the first day as a result of not knowing the bottom lock didn’t work and you could simply just push the door open (even when locked). Only other issue was only one TV for a possible 13 ppl and not enough seats for even a third of that to sit and watch TV. Just a few maintenance issues required around the place in bathrooms etc also, need a handy person to fix all the little things up. Good location though, close to shops and Ocean Grove beach and a basketball court, footy oval, soccer oval etc"

"Cosmetically ok, fundementally flawed. Its a dungeon under the rear of the home above. Every footstep in the home above is audible, no air con controls, no TV antenna, Wifi switched off 2 nights out of 3, bathroon way too narrow (hit your head on opposite wall getting off the toilet), unsafe wiring to kitchen area, wardrobe in kitchen, fridge and microwave in living space, no site plan to show that the door is under the rear of the house. Government photo ID demanded for all occupants AFTER property booked and paid for."
