"Everything was Great!!"

"I took my wife to this hotel for our anniversary, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. For the amount of money we paid, I expected much better service and accommodations. The TV in our room did not work, the sink had issues, and the bathtub also had problems. I called to report these issues, but when the handyman came, he basically told us there was nothing he could do. Nothing was fixed, and both my wife and I were very upset that our concerns were not taken seriously. To make matters worse, my room card did not work at the bar area. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the bartender escorted me to the front desk in a way that made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable, almost like I had done something wrong. That experience was humiliating and completely unnecessary. This was supposed to be a special anniversary trip for us, but it turned into a very frustrating experience. I am very disappointed with how everything was handled, and next time I will definitely make different arrangements."

"The property itself is genuinely beautiful, but that is where the positives end. The listing advertised a waterfront view — the lake was completely dried out and had clearly been that way for some time. The unit had a severe odor upon arrival, consistent with mold or sewage, which was never fully resolved during my stay. Breakfast was listed as an included amenity; the host's idea of fulfilling this was leaving single-serve boxes of cereal and Pop-Tarts with no milk. When I raised this, the follow-up was equally inadequate. An office space was advertised with photos in the listing — the host refused to provide access. When issues were raised, the host was responsive but ineffective, and nothing was resolved to an acceptable standard. Vrbo had to get involved in order to get anything resolved. If you are considering this property based on the waterfront listing or the included amenities, please verify both before booking. What is advertised and what is delivered are two very different things. Please see attached photos of dried up lake, and amenity list that breakfast is included, and an office is provide provided with the printer and computer (but host says he does not allow access)"

"4 different staff members went out of their way to attempt to stoke me into unnecessary and potentially unfriendly conversation. Housekeeping on the 3rd floor has a set up that is not comfortable. Had only one unpleasant encounter w maintenance staff in same nature as general service. Orlando has a lot of servers yo. And yes, the rooms have open sockets where lights used to be with potential for abuse in my experience. I liked the area closer to the mini airport and festival park better."

"One of the better rentals I’ve ever stayed in over the years. Excellent location, beautiful neighborhood across from the lake with a trail. The house was immaculate, well stocked and the instructions were spot on. Fully fenced, a major bonus for the dogs! The host was extremely accessible on a very timely basis. Overall, a stellar experience."

"Perfect place to stay for my daughter' wedding at the Dr. Phillips house, only a few minutes away. There was plenty of room for all the bridesmaids and the large bathroom where we could all get our hair and make-up done. The sandwich shop down the street made it so easy to pick up some lunch for the girls. The house was great and the host was very communicative. A plus all around."
