A whale of a vacation

We spent two weeks toward the end of January at this condo in the Papakea resort in Maui and it was everything we thought it would be, but only better. The whale activity was amazing and the views we had from the property were incredible. Everything about this location was top notch, from the condo to the pools. The area was very walkable with plenty of restaurants, beaches, bars and a grocery store. We supported local merchants every day. Just a wonderful condo and place to stay in Maui.

This is a great place to stay. The location is perfect. You can walk to anything you need, including food and snorkeling. The sunset watching is spectacular

King Wedding

Great time had by all 30 Aussies and 30 Americans came together to celebrate a joining of family's. Such a great area to have a wedding and share the love and friendships formed by the union.

Decent location at a good price

We had a great time at Nicole and Mark's oasis by the sea! They were very communicative and logistics went smoothly. As should be obvious from the listing, this property isn't exactly beachfront - it's waterfront, but you can't just jump into the water from the seawall :). Think of this as an amazingly cozy and welcoming center of operations for your vacation. The hot tub and pool are lovely - the pool is either heated or naturally very warm! We didn't use the tennis/pickleball/shuffleboard but they looked fun. No problem finding parking in the lot right outside our unit, even though spaces were first come first serve. Plenty of little restaurants and shops nearby for the basics. Highly recommend checking out Slappy Cakes, where you can cook your own pancakes at your table - in your own art masterpiece designs - using whichever toppings you choose!
