Nice unit, but needs a deep clean.

Very difficult to not have a good time in Maui. This unit was nice once the awful smell was mostly aired out (though it did continue, one gets used to it). I surmised nobody must have been in the unit for a while. Once we swept up old dead bugs and dirt everything was fine. Nice view and comfortable bed. Furniture was OK, but not real comfortable for sitting, but we weren't in the unit enough for that to matter. Other than having to pay for "cleaning" it is well worth the stay.

Kapalua favorite

This unit needs some freshening up. The fan in the living room only ran on high speed. Rug in master bathroom is dirty & worn out should be removed. The coffee pot had to be replaced. Lamps in master bedroom worked intermittently. We changed a light bulb but still was intermittent. Cabinets need wipe down and around hardware. Over the view & location

We felt home here. It magnificent, the beauty of the golf course and the Ocean view is a paradise.

we found that home away from home is a paradise, it is exactly how Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (Bruddah Iz) has described the magnificent spirit of Hawaii we enjoyed each and every seconds of our stay, Mahalo for having us here in this beautiful condominium, our stay here was as perfect as the beauty of the Maui.

Perfect location

Perfect location in Kapalua Golf Villas with unobstructed views! We enjoyed our week long stay. Unit was clean and well appointed. Beach towels & chairs, cooler, etc. also provided. This was very much appreciated. Enjoy a nice walk to 3 beaches, golf course or the Honolua store for your needs. We would definitely stay again!

This condo was beautiful. Great location! We enjoyed sitting on the lanai each morning and watching for whales in the ocean, all with a beautiful golf course just below us. Thank you for a fantastic visit to Maui!!

Maui stay.

Great condo for two people. Sleeps four but pull out sofa bed is not comfortable. Not on ground floor so expect several steps to climb and descend. Great view. Covered lanai.

Whale of a stay

We sat and watched whales while drinking wine on the nicely furnished lanai. Great views quiet and located close to the beach and dinning. Will definitely stay here again

Nice condo with good amenities but not as private as expected

Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo itself had plenty of space and included updated finishes. The kitchen was well-stocked and the views of the golf course and distant ocean were amazing. However, despite the upscale nature of the neighborhood, the amount of noise from adjacent condo units was very distracting and had a negative impact on our ability to fully relax. Unfortunately, the lanai for this unit is not as private as others have said and you can easily hear people having loud conversations. In addition, we found the nearby pool area to be crowded most of the time and quite noisy as well. If you're looking for peace and tranquility during your visit to Maui, this property may not be a good option.

Wonderful stay

We’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and don’t think we’ve stayed in one this clean ever. Great communication with manager and our entire stay was perfect.

Needs work to achieve potential

This can be an excellent rental if the owner does what is needed. The location is excellent, the unit is nicely constructed, and the property manager was exceptionally responsive (thank you Zac). But, when the A/C doesn’t work and cockroaches make you move, there is only so much you can do as a manager. With investment, this unit can be returned to what it probably was - a very high quality property. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that for us.

Best View on Maui

What an awesome stay! The place was in excellent condition. The view from the Lanai was incredible. The place was located in a peaceful area. Very simple to access beaches in the area. The golf at the Bay Course was incredible. Maui(Kapalua) was beautiful. Thank You

Clean condo with a great view

My family and I had a very nice stay in this condo. The view is amazing, those huge windows which all had nice shades on them. Kitchen is an amazing space, we both like cooking. The pull out couch is quite spacious and very comfortable. I personally found it slightly more comfy than the bed even! Kitchen has pretty nice pots and pans, utensils etc. My only comment where improvement could be made and its very minor is would be more towels, in the kitchen and for the pool or beach would be nice and more convenient. Plenty in the bathrooms, newer and nice quality. It was just hard coming from the beach and going to the pool with wet towels. Four were provided and we were a family of four. Condo is excellent and being close to the store was very nice!

Extended stay in Maui

We had been at a different address in Maui for almost one week when we decided to extend our stay. We found this property on VRBO and chose it on short notice because of its strong reviews. I’ll spare you the long post and simply say—It was prefect! Book with confidence, you’ll love it!

We loved this place

The condo has a perfect view, is within a 20 minute walk to multiple beaches and is right on the Bay golf course. It was very quiet, the complex and pools were immaculate and the condo was clean and comfortable. The property manager were great to work with and checked to make sure if there was anything we may need. They also responded promptly to a question we had. We would stay here again when we return to Kapalua.

Beautiful, quiet retreat

The condo is beautiful and quietly situated on a golf course. The closest pool on the property was empty nearly every day and there were no loud families as you’d typically expect with a resort community stay, which my husband and I greatly appreciated. Very close to old town Lahaina with a 15 minute drive which was great for dining and shopping. Overall with our travels across the island, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in at the villas again. You won’t find a quieter or more serene area!
