Flew in from Texas and from the arrival at the hotel, the lobby, and then to the room were all EXCELLENT!! The front desk was very welcoming and friendly! My room was very clean, fresh, and quiet! I stayed for the weekend and I will definitely be staying here again when I visit California! They only knock i would have to say it's that the room didn't have a microwave

The room we stayed in was on the first floor and had animal stains on the carpet. The pool area would’ve been nice had it been clean. They have cabanas you can use but they are all dirty, the ground and the tables. The pool looks like it needs to be maintained better with chemicals. Everyday they were out of pool towels even though there was hardly anyone at the pool. We were there 4 nights and none of the above was cleaned during the entire stay. However, it is right off the freeway and so easy to get to the beach & shopping areas.

It’s an adequate place for a quick trip for a spot to get good night’s rest. There’s a center where there’s a good Italian restaurant and coffee spot that’s not Starbucks just within walking distance. It’s an uphill walk and a great way to wake you up! Enjoyed a couple of nights here and was happy with my experience. I didn’t need much from staff because everything I needed was provided. There’s a daily parking fee just an fyi if that’s a factor.

The staff was very helpful especially when I checked in. The only problem with the room was the air/heat wall unit. The room would get either too cold or too warm no matter how I tried to adjust it. And they really could use a mirror outside of the bathroom if you are sharing with another person.
