Lagun Blou Resort was the perfect location for our family. The staff was incredibly helpful. They got our unit ready early for us and even drove us to the grocery store. That being said, strongly suggest you rent a car if staying here. Then you will be about to get around to the various beaches nearby and go to the grocery store since none are walking distance.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The location of our unit overlooking Playa Lagun was absolutely perfect. We loved the sunbeds and chairs overlooking the ocean and the stairs going into the water was perfect for snorkeling. We were also happy that barbecues were available for our use. We had a great stay and I would love to come back here one day.

World class sea water swimming

By far our favourite stay on the island! The family-like nature and the care that Orlando and Joyce put into the place is outstanding. Our sunset swims every evening were a highlight because of the ocean access and location of the property. Could not recommend more highly!

We had an unbelievable experience! Waking up just feet away from private access to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island! And the staff was incredible, it felt like being with family. Highly recommended!

The property is a slice of paradise! The island itself is not what you would describe as tropical, very arid with thorny bushes and cactus. However, within the complex, the owner has created a lush, colorful tropical space with palm trees, fountains, pools and bubble spa. If overlooks the ocean from a steep coral cliff, which is the view we had every morning when we woke. It is quiet, serene and safe, with the owners on site and super friendly!

This place is an absolute gem!! The owners live right on the property and were very welcoming, even to my parents who were staying at the neighboring property. Our fridge wasn't working the first day and they addressed it right away and brought us a new fridge. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the views spectacular. I hope to go back one day!!

THIS PROPERTY IS NOT MODERN, WATER MIGHT BE COLD NOT AC EXCEPT IN ROOMS BUT I PERSONALLY GROWED UP THIS WY AND I LOVED TO LIVE THE SAME EXPERIENCED AND REMEBER WHEN I WAS YOUNGER MY KIDS LOVED IT TOO. STAFF ARE SUPPER ATTENTIVE MAKE YOU FEEL HOME. LOVED SNORKELING IN THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY. MANY BEATIFUL BEACHES WITHIN A 6-10 MIN DRIVE ALSO RESTAURANTS

Loved the grounds, peaceful tranquil, views of the ocean, access to the ocean from a platform, great fish dinner, fresh caught. The owners live right at the property had limited service hours open. The room cleaning service less frequent than the every other day promised, bed-towels and trash only done once in 7 days. You need a car for sure as only 3 restaurants and no grocery stores near by

The grounds of this property are spectacular and peaceful. The lack of AC on the main floor of the units is not ideal, but not insurmountable if you use the large stand up fan and open the doors to let the breese in. The kitchen could use some new plates and cups, as these are sparse, but otherwise it has everything you need to cook for yourself, if you chose to. We brought coals and used one of the availaable bbqs, but they also have dinner available in a pretty lit area by the pool. The owners are lovely and went out of their way to please everyone and did a beach hoping boat tour with us and to see the blue room which was great. They were always available if needed. It was a great stay.

The grounds are Gorgeous and the convenience to diving perfect! We had breakfast and dinner there a few nights and it was delicious! Shout out to Brian for those fantastic meals. We are scuba divers so having the dive shop in property with one of the best shore dives right off their dock was phenomenal. We even went on a lionfish spear fishing hunt. The only minus points I would give would be that the ac is only in the upstairs bedroom. We never stayed downstairs bc it was so hot that we kept both the front and back doors open for a breeze. But we weren’t in the room during the day since we were out shore diving and exploring. Also, the rooms could use a major update, but the grounds and staff were fantastic! Thank you Brian, Orlando, Byron and Joyce for everything!

STUNNING. We stayed here for five days and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere of the resort is extremely relaxing with lush greenery, 2 pools and amazing views of the ocean. There was an awesome platform that we jumped off of to snorkel near the coral. Walking distance to playa lagun, 10-20 minute drive to other stunning beaches (grote knipe was our favorite and only 10 mins away). The 2 bath-1 bed apartments were a little outdated, as there was no AC on the bottom floor, but we didn’t stay in the apartment much so it didn’t matter. The bedroom had air condition that was sufficient enough. The only con to note: throwing toilet paper into garbage can instead of toilet. But, understandable. There is also a loving black cat that they rescued who roams the resort freely. Everyone is welcoming- especially Manu at the reception desk! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful 😍

This resort was soooo nice! Beautiful villa. A queen and single bed upstairs, and a queen bed downstairs. It was overlooking the ocean. Only thing is that the upstairs didn’t have AC. Couldn’t stay up there for too long. I would go up to go on the balcony when it got cooler in the late afternoon. It gets really hot. So I pretty much stayed downstairs most of the time. AC is in the bedroom. There’s a kitchen with all the appliances you need. I made use of it. I didn’t go out to eat at all. It suited me fine. There’s a lot of seating areas, inside and outside, so very spacious. Right next to Lagun beach, a 3 min walk downhill. The beach is small, lots of rocks, so bring appropriate water shoes! You’ll thank me later. Bring your snorkeling gear, you can actually see all kinds of fish right at the beginning of the water! So if you don’t swim, like me, not scary at all!! 😊 I rented a car, and so glad I did, since it’s kind of secluded. I was able to visit different places and not have to get a tour, or wait around for people to pick me up. It was great. Enjoy the beauty!! 🏝️

I really wanted to love this place but too many cons outweigh the pros. Pros,The staff are friendly and very helpful. Location is absolutely paradisiac and magical. The view from the premium apartment balcony was magical. The fact that the property was steps from Playa Lugun was amazing and their private access to clear waters and wonderful snorkeling was incredible. The bed was comfortable. Cons, the apartment (#19) is very OUTDATED, along with the furniture, where there were visible stains on the couch that I was deterred from sitting on them and unable to enjoy the living room, plus there’s NO A/C and it gets extremely hot (only upstairs in the bedroom and if you go over 15 kw / day you’ll be charged ). The bath mats had stains on them. The upstairs sliding door grates and is hard to open. The fan in the living room was extremely dirty and dusty, but when I asked for it to be cleaned it was instantly cleaned, along with the very smelly bathroom upstairs, (they immediately put chemicals in the toilets and sinks to remove the smell). The kitchen is old and I felt I had to wash anything before I used it. If you’re looking for a great location with magical views and won’t be spending much time in your room, this is the place. But if you’re looking to relax in a clean apartment without worrying about using too much electricity and A/C and with ocean views, there are other options at a better rate.
