I simply don't believe such a hotel should be listed on Expedia. I booked a room for about 6 or 7 nights, It was a struggle to sleep a night and I had to check out first thing the next morning.

Firstly, I was not given the room I booked for online, I was lodged into a room that looks rundown. After several complaints, I was moved to a better room. The breakfast was just basic, nothing special about it. However, the staffs were very helpful and really nice all through our stay. I can’t take that from them. And the location was secured.

Clean room, the staff are really friendly, however I was actually waiting for the staff that attended me the first day to come back, Kevin sough + Damilola (Who shares my name) honestly they are the best! They take real pride in their Job! The breakfast there is really good too, it did come a bit later than I originally planned, however taste wise - Very good, the hotel itself was showing football, they have several TV’s throughout the lounges, restaurants and the pool! So that was good, I would say the other staff are good too but they weren’t quite as prompt as Kevin and Dami. Location wise it’s not perfect for everyone as the area isn’t for everyone however if you have been to Lagos before and you know how to navigate around, it is actually pretty close to everything. I do want to give a small shoutout to Chris in reception and Temi/Teni too because they were very helpful as well, I would definitely come again but I will contact first to see if Kevin & Dami are working!

So honestly when I came in, I was a little pissed off because I did believe there was no running water but I was incorrect, the porter at the front desk (Kelvin sough) honestly was so calm and composed and polite, he showed me and my girl how to use the shower, he offered to go and buy bottled water for us from the shop, he literally tried to cater for our every need, generally, he made the experience here 10x better, in regards to the room it was really big, it was comfortable, the only thing I would say was, they switched from gen to government light quite often which did sometimes make the light cut out for a second, but apart from that it was really good, (they only give one bottle of water, which was a bit odd considering we booked for two guests but yet again, kelvin came in to offer us water from his own pocket) When breakfast took a bit long, he stepped in again, generally all of the staff were good, but Kelvin, really deserved a special shoutout There are a few shops nearby, to buy small snacks and food, but there’s also a restaurant and lounge (we didn’t eat, but the breakfast was good)

Pros: Convenient location, very steady internet on large smart tv, generally quiet if windows are kept closed, close to airport, safe area, great mattress and clean bedding, laundry services offered, laundry room has washing machines, superior room is spacious for long stay, friendly staff and tasty yam and egg sauce served as one free breakfast option. Cons: Dirty AC filter that blow out unclean air so have to use low setting, room not cleaned on time, no choice of free breakfast, eat what is served, breakfast isn’t served at set time, only yam and egg sauce breakfast tastes good, only one utensil given for two breakfast, hotel restaurant food not tasty and is too expensive, no elevator, steep stairs made of marble so walk carefully. Despite cons, I’d recommend if first choice is unavailable.

Didn’t like that the pool was very dirty looking, couldn’t even see the bottom, said they were treating it but compared to the last visit with them it was very clean, said complimentary breakfast but didn’t receive the breakfast everyday, out of the 12 days we had it about 6 or 7 days and only served one breakfast for two people
