Great place. Family of 5. Plenty of space. Great location. We really enjoyed Luz. Nice beach. Many restaurants are walkable. Heated pool. Would definitely stay again. Beach is right around corner. Free parking space on property.

This is the villa of your dreams! Fantastic location right across the beach, heated pool, jacuzzi, and modern design. Our family had a luxurious vacation and will definitely come back again.

Beautiful Beach house

Home was beautiful and spacious. Has everything one needs. If we are ever back will stay here again. Loved the wine and cheese on our arrival. Rita was very helpful.

Fantastic location

Brilliant check in, fantastic help when needed and location unbeatable. Rooms and bathrooms spotless. Hot tub and heated pool served us well in early April. It is all one floor so beware the ant warning in the evening. Would book again without question! Many thanks

What a great location! We found the checkin process easy and Cristina was very helpful and caring. We did have a problem with the washer did not work but they were very responsive getting it fixed even to the point where I believe they replaced it. I would highly recommend this company and this home

Great for beach and quiet part of Luz

Property on first appearance is superb, but the high tech controls took a while to master. It’s set in a quiet location, with limited views which made it feel very private. The roof terrace furniture has been removed and so this area wasn’t really used, which could be addressed for future guests to enjoy the views to the beach and across to Luz. The pool was amazing (but not deep) and the jacuzzi great for relaxing. It is well equipped with new bbq and pizza oven and a great outdoor eating area. We would definitely recommend.

Great Escape

My family and I stayed here for two weeks this August. The pool was heated and so the children became fish and even mama ventured in in quiet moments. If kids became cold from too much swimming, a quick dunk in the hot tub was perfect. The rooms were a good size and dark and cool at night. The internet was great and we could work uninterrupted Rita, our host was very attentive. We had a few issues and she was prompt and friendly. Overall, a lovely stay

Perfect house for relaxing holidays

We spent in this house exellent 10 days in end of june. We really enjoy our time in Luz. Design of the house, size, rooms, swimming pool, garden - everything is perfect. Very good airconditioning system. Location is one of best part of house. Silence and secure area just by the sea. In our opinion, house could be very comfortable around the year, not only in summer. Diana is very good manager, always keeping in touch and trying to help. High recommended

Great Location and good sized rooms

The property is very clean, well proportioned and has lots of mod cons. It is very private and not overlooked. The property is less than 1 minute walk to the beach and 3 minutes walk to a whole range of reasonably priced restaurants. Be warned that several of the restaurants do not accept credit or debit cards and although the resort has plenty of ATM's they do charge. The Pizza Oven is a nice feature but we did find it difficult to master. The pool is very pleasant but its only heat source is the sun and so isn't the warmest. Our stay was slightly affected by the hot water not working for two days, the washing machine breaking down and the air con not always functioning well. The hosts were very helpful in sorting out these problems but was still a source of frustration at times. The weather was fantastic, although the strong winds can make the BBQ challenging.

Gorgeous property

This property is pretty much as is presented. Rita the property manager was exceptional. Very private. Bedrooms were all spacious. It was a little high tech so always something not working but Rita was very quick to respond and resolve. Washing machine but no dryer. The upper deck was not really functional as there was no table and chairs, just lounge chairs. So close to the beach. Town of Praira de Luz is so cute and so many awesome restaurants. Pool was clean and heated well. There is no gas bbq, just charcoal bbq area and wood burning pizza oven. Lovely seating area in front courtyard with table and chairs that is not in the current photos. Photos should be updated as this is a plus. Kitchen was well stocked. Nespresso coffee maker as well as a french press. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

Great beach stay

We had a great time in a fantastic house just a 30 second walk to the beach. The house, pool, and outdoor kitchen were great. Rita was an amazing property manager and super responsive.

Magical house on the beach

We had a wonderful time at the house. The rooms are generous, the bed comfortable, the bathrooms very nice and the pool area simple magical. The house is around the corner from the beach.

Lovely stay

On the whole we had a very positive experience. Beds lovely and comfortable. Plenty of space. Nice pool. There are few things that prevent me from giving it a perfect 5 stars though and it’s more about managing expectations rather than putting people off from booking. The first is that some of the decking is showing its age. Also some of furniture (especially in the bedrooms) is quite basic and some things like the table cushions needed washing or replacing. There weren’t enough matching wine glasses (for 4 of us) so we ended up either with odd sizes and shapes or drinking from tumblers. A little bit of investment would make all the difference. Some of the reviews have commented on the over complicated electrics and we could see what was meant. It was probably cutting edge when it was installed but now was a bit dated with things like Google and Alexa rather than having to fathom put the various switches and what controlled what! Didn’t worry us too much though. One of the things I would like to commend was the responsiveness of Rita before and during the holiday. Communication was great and when we had a minor problem with the dishwasher this was sorted out promptly. I would stay here again but probably falls a bit short of “luxurious” but “comfortable”.

Had a great stay, the hosts were extremely quick in resolving any minor issues and very kindly recommended restaurants and sightseeing ideas, are biggest complaints however was we found the beds quite uncomfortable with metal framed beds letting the comfort side down and the decking area around the pool in our opinion needs replacing, both the children cut their toes and one got a splinter, not ideal for young children, all in all it it a lovely villa very close to all amenities just needs a couple of tweaks/updating

Great property!

We just returned from our week long stay, and what a great property! The location is literally steps from the best beach (and the best area of the beach) in Luz. It is also very close walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The pool and jacuzzi are absolutely amazing. (I noted a few reviews complaining about the size of the pool. It is not a lap pool, but the pool is perfect for spending time in and cooling off.) The kitchen is very well appointed with everything that you could need for cooking. The house is has some technology that we found easy to use (despite some commentary to the contrary in other reviews), and Rita, the house manager, is available at any time to answer any questions. The few issues or questions that arose were handled INSTANTLY. She also provided us with great recommendations for where to eat and what to do. We would definitely stay here again.

key bullet points. Great location. beach is super near and brilliant. short walk to bars and places to eat all very good. great villa and outside space. picture of pool on the site makes it look way bigger than it is and if your looking to swim lengths you will be disappointed but great for the kids. Rita is great and very helpful. Down sides for us. outside decking is not very child friendly and needs to be updated / replaced. lots of uneven surfaces and could not let children walk on it alone in places without risk of an upset. Do not understand why there is no furniture on the balcony roof as its such a great space and there is not enough to carry some upstairs and its too hot ! House is very high Tech but little in way of instruction and found this frustrating at times and yearned for a switch ! left no cleaning equipment so we had to buy everything which is disappointing for a week as we used very little ! so we could clean as we go including washing up liquid { think we had 2 dishwasher tablets } . for the price we paid would have expected some and it helps keep it clean !
