The apartment 'Baia Beach' is ideal for those who value luxury.This a fantastic opportunity to stay in the heart of Praia da Luz in a luxurious resort, with the beach just over 300 metres away.

Located in the award-winning Baía da Luz resort, guests of this 1st-floor (top floor) apartment benefit from 24-hour reception service to check-in.

This newly renovated apartment is tastefully furnished. The owners have chosen high-quality finishes and furniture. You will find all the amenities you would expect from accommodation today but cleverly mixed with vintage pieces.

The floors are polished concrete and have underfloor heating for the colder seasons. It is also worth mentioning that the apartment has air conditioning.

Although sunny days are common in the Algarve, the resort grounds are intelligently lit so that it is warm and bright.

Several storage cupboards are built into the wall in the entrance hall. There is also a second WC, which houses the washing machine (Teka 8 kg).

The living room has double-glazed windows that open onto a large terrace with stunning views of Black Rock.

There is a 'rattan' table and four chairs for dining outside, as well as, two sun loungers. Stairs lead to a terrace where you can soak up the Algarve sun.

In the dining room, there are a replica of the famous Tulip table by Eero Saarinen and 4 1950s style Eames DSW chairs.

Amenities include cable TV with numerous channels in several languages, a flat-screen LG TV, Wi-Fi, a telephone that allows you to make national and international calls (payable at the resort reception), and a vintage-style Marshall speaker with Bluetooth connection.

A counter with a beach picture separates the kitchen from the living room. The kitchen features high-quality Teka appliances, including a dishwasher, induction hob, extractor bonnet, oven, and integrated fridge, as well as other luxury items carefully chosen by the owner, such as a Bodum toaster and kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, and an electric citrus press, ideal for those who enjoy our Algarve oranges.

The master bedroom features a double bed, flexible LED reading lamps, and an LG flat-screen television. The bedroom balcony overlooks the Black Rock. There is a 'walk-in' wardrobe with plenty of storage space and drawers where the iron and ironing board can be found.

The en-suite bathroom, which has a shower, is accessed through a smoked glass door.

Bed linen and towels are provided and the receptionist will inform you about the cleaning times in the apartment.

There is a parking space in front of the flat with room for one car.

At the bottom of the stairs leading to the apartment, there is a lockable metal gate. To ensure the safety of guests, the apartment is only accessible by key card.There is a regular bus service from Lagos to Praia da Luz if you are travelling by public transportation - bus or train.

Luz is a small but thriving village filled with restaurants, 'bistros,' cafés, and bars. The Alloro restaurant, located on the Baía da Luz resort grounds, serves authentic Italian cuisine and wines. There are two supermarkets nearby that sell both national and international products.

The lovely Praia da Luz beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, indicating that it is both safe and clean. Swim in the calm waters, from May to October you can participate in water sports, or explore the rock pools at low tide. To the east, the famous Black Rock headland separates the village of Luz from Lagos, which is only a 10-minute drive away.

Firstly I would like to say this apartment is truly beautiful. The furniture, decor and all fittings and fixtures top quality. The terraces are huge with lovely views, you really couldn’t ask for more. However I booked this accommodation as the description stated that you had use of the resort pools, on checking in we were told that this wasn’t the case, we were not allowed access. This was hugely disappointing, I wouldn’t have booked here if I knew this was the case, a pool is a large part of our holiday. On contacting the management company I was told I must have been looking at the wrong property description, and was advised that the advert did not state use of pools. Eventually after much messaging I sent a screenshot of the property description which indeed stated that we had access to the pools. We were advised that nothing could be done and the only suggestion was to try and book another apartment and we would be refunded for the remaining nights of our holiday. Consequently we had to rent beds at a neighbouring hotel pool for €24 per day for the two of us adding considerable cost to our holiday. I’m glad to say that the property description has now been updated so hopefully no one else will have this issue. If you’re not bothered about having access to a pool I would highly recommend this property.

Property is as described; check in via resort reception; modern apartment with walk in shower; nice outdoor space (could do with a bit of softening-plants etc); nothing in the area - but Luz (literally) easy 5 min walk away. Would recommend.
