    ## Neighborhood

    What a location! Just around the corner of praia de Carvoeiro. With lovely restaurants all within easy walking distance. Fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to the buzz of traditional village life.

    Carvoeiro is a great place to discover the Algarve from, being located so centrally on the coastline. If you like golf, surfing, windsurfing, tennis and watersports, all is to be found close by which makes the place very popular all year round. Not to forget the beautiful area of Serra de Monchique about 20km to the north, where you can get an unforgettable mountain biking experience.
    There are thousands of unbelievable beaches of which some are even pretty much undiscovered and only accessible by boat. If you like fresh fish and seafood, here you are right at home with an infinite number of great restaurants all along the coast.

    ## Transit

    You can reach Carvoeiro in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and a car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train, it will take about 2 to 3 hours.

    Although public transport is available and will definitely get you around, it is limited. If you plan on exploring the general Algarve area, a (hire) car is recommended. Within Carvoeiro, you don't need any special transportation. You can easily walk through the village.

On the whole, the property fitted the bill for what we needed and was clean and tidy. Excellent position to a beautiful beach and nice distance from Carvoeiro. However, there is no sea view and there is no kayak as per the pictures! The apartment just needs a bit of TLC. One of the bathrooms flooded easily and the shower taps were missing handles. The door that previously had covered the fridge had been removed but still had the hinges so looked like it had been ripped off. When we first arrived there was a strong musty smell that did improve once the air con was on but did linger a little. The beds were very comfortable but it would have been much better if more than one pillow per person had been provided. Kitchen was fully stocked. Disposal of trash was rather tricky as we were expecting large waste skips however all we could find were stand alone small waste bins that anyone using the beach could use. Better signage of where to dispose would have been helpful.

Nice apartment

The apartment was nice and the location was great. The building itself was in need of a good cleaning and lots of repairs. Broken tile in the entrance, filthy furniture in the lobby and moldy and paint peeling walls in the hallway. Need a good sweeping throughout the property. That gave us a hesitant feeling when we first got there.

Great stay!

This apartment fit our needs perfectly and was exactly as described. Pay attention to the listing information about the building itself, but as they stated, it's only the building, not the apartment. Would stay again!

Great location

We loved this portion of our vacation. As mentioned in some of the reviews, the building is a little worn, the suite itself was as pictured in the add (other than the view). The suite was comfortable and had everything we needed. We didnt have an ocean view but the garden view was lovely and sitting out and listening to the birds was a nice treat. Overall it was quiet and clean, and met our needs. The location was great and we were able to leave our car and walk for days. There is a great beach down the hill and the property is on the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail so the views from there are spectacular. We bought groceries and were able to eat in some of the time, and the walk into town for restaurants was hilly but reasonable. Would absolutely stay there again.

L'appartement est très bien équipé et très bien situé. Le seul bémol est l'humidité ambiante. Nous n'arrivions pas a faire sécher les serviettes à l'intérieur et le soir à l'extérieur tout était très humide aussi (début mai). Cependant, je recommande fortement cet hébergement.

Tolles Dimizil

Die Unterkunft ist in einer älteren Wohnanlage, wurde aber Top renoviert. Das Meer ist in 2 Minuten bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Top Lage. Der Meerblick stimmt nur bedingt. Man sieht es nur auf der Terrasse am äußersten Ende, wenn man steht. Jedenfalls ist die Wohnung zum Meer hin ausgerichtet. Es fehlt in der Wohnung an nichts. Die Abflüsse riechen manchmal etwas, dagegen wurden aber Luftbedufter aufgestellt. Die Straße in der Nähe ist Abends und Nachts nicht sehr stark befahren, jedoch sind Bremshügel auf der Straße. Wenn dort ein LKW zu schnell darüber fährt, hört man das bei geöffnetem Fenstern eben. Sind die Türen/Fenster geschlossen ist alles ruhig! 3 Klimaanlagen sind vorhanden. Ein kleiner Spar Supermarkt ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ist aber sehr teuer. In die Innenstadt sind es mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten, zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten.

Vacances en famille au Portugal

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines et demi dans ce logement qui est plutôt bien équipé et propre. Même si nous avons rencontré quelques soucis d'odeurs désagréables à l'arrivée (malheureusement liées à la construction) et trouvé un réfrigérateur pris en glace notre séjour reste agréable dans l'ensemble. L'équipe Rental Valley, propriétaire de ce bien, a été à l'écoute et réactive lorsque nous avons rencontré ces difficultés. La situation géographique de ce bien est idéale pour découvrir la région de l'Algarve, et la plage de Centeanes est réellement à 2 minutes, très pratique avec des enfants.

Es el apartamento mas completo en el que he estado, apartamento recientemente renovado con todo lo que puedas necesitar y mas. Muy comodo, con camas muy confortables. Situado a pie de playa y a unos 2,5 km de Carvoeiro, una localizacion muy buena. Lo elegimos aunque no tenia piscina y vamos con dos niñas, pero no me he arrepentido, las playas son maravillosas. Lo recomiendo
