"Surprised In Changes"

For the price I paid I'd have to admit it was worth the stay there. Didn't have any problems with management or residents staying there. Felt quite & semi-safe. A far cry from the previous owners and/or management. This hotel was notorious for homeless ppl & prostitution hangouts, drug dealing/buying/using of such, & just unnecessary drama {constantly} to the point law enforcement would assign someone to just sit & hangout in the hotel parking lot, especially at night on weekends. As a life time resident of The Greater City of Lafayette, I can honestly say you've definitely cleaned that place up & hopefully some of its reputation for the positive. Conveniently located just seconds off Interstate-10 on side service road. Customer service was extremely nice to be. I was attempting to wash/dryer my laundry, but appeared to be having a minor difficulty with the machine I'd chosen. My lost laundry fee amount was refunded & another better machine offered with same laundry cleaning time. My being held up over the laundry issue (unfortunate all my laundry needed cleaning) caused me not being able to shower before check out time at 11:00 am, so before I was able to finish asking management; I was granted permission to stay for as long as needed to shower. Thank you kindly, sir.

The room was disgusting. Had to kill a cockroach and was solicited drugs soon after arrival. Also at 5:30 in the morning someone pounded on our door trying to sell & they did it again 15 minutes later. Lots of foot traffic outside throughout the night & cars coming & goung. It didn't look like travelers, other than us were staying there. Couldn't get out of there fast enough in the morning!
