"Beautiful property nestled in a quiet and quaint village with one of the warmest people we have come across so far. The local pub and restaurant - Gavin's makes hearty and delicious food and the host of this property, Ruth was so welcoming and communicative making sure we were well taken care of. The property is very tastefully designed and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend."

"We had an amazing time making great family memories! Great views and even better amenities.The river is calm and perfect for canoeing or kayaking with the suppled water toys! Great bonfire area and sauna! Had a great time on the river in the canoe and kayaks! Played games, read books, played golden tee! So much fun for the kids!The cabin was incredibly clean and the hosts were so easy and prompt in communication!Al"
Waterfront Beach Paradise - 3 Bed, 2 Washroom Cottage with Outdoor Bar

"The property was amazing, the rooms were clean, the kitchen was great and the grounds were amazing. The bar outside was a big hit and the fire pit right by the bar was awesome, not to mention the free fire wood they supply right there. That is definitely an added bonus. The beach was good and swimming off the dock was great, a few weeds here and there but it was as good as it gets. The Kayaks were also an added bonus, we used them to go across the river to a really nice area that was full of wildlife including a cool beaver dam. The rooms were all able to be heated with electrical baseboard heaters which was great for the one cold night we had. The only thing I'd say that needed to be upgraded was a nicer bigger table outside on the deck for meals and games outside when it's nice. The one they have is a small round table that only sits 4 people and is tight but it was a small thing. The metro and supply places were very close by and so convenient for getting groceries and supplies. Overall this property was amazing and we would definitely go back again."

"The tranquility combined with the natural beauty is jaw dropping. Home is as described. Lots to do in the area. Gatineau Park is a must. Lots of canoeing routes. Bike trails are endless. Truly the best location ever."
Cozy & Small Guest House Near Calabogie

"The bunkie was a perfect space for me, my husband, and our med and lg dogs. There is a beautiful view of the Ottawa River from the bedroom. The host has thought of almost anything you could need, from a guide of trails and attractions in the area, to a tie out on the deck for a dog, a variety of snacks for any type of palate, spices and oils for you to cook with, even instant oats and coffee or tea for the morning if you'd like. It felt very homey and warm, and we could imagine how warm it would be in the winter with the cute fireplace. I dropped one star because the one night we stayed here, the fire stick/t.v. didn't work for us (though we didn't reach out for help) and the bed could use a 2" or 3" foam topper, we had difficulty sleeping. Overall however, we were very impressed with this property."
