Fence Lake Retreat w/ dock

Weekly rental on Fence Lake! 7 day minimum stay Monday - Monday.

Lake side 2 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom cabin that sleeps 4. Cabin includes access and use of the dock which is shared only with one other cabin if occupied during your stay. Cabin is situated on Northeast side of the Fence lake which is the largest lake at over 3400 acres and a part of the Fence lake chain which includes 10 lakes total. Cabin has window AC units and includes access to 2 kayaks and a propane grill. Cabin is only 15 minutes from downtown Minocqua with many bars, restaurants, and shops to explore and just 5 minutes from Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.

Traveling with another family or more people? Book both sides of the duplex for the week. Unit 1 contains 2 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom (1 queen bed and 2 twin beds).

Fence Lake property

Listing was fairly accurate. Except it says no pets and i found lots of what looked to be white dog hair throughout. Grill was unusable. The dock in the pictures are not the same dock. One of the steps down to the dock was broken and hazardous. We had to step over it. And there were no working outdoor lights. We made the best of our stay. Cant beat the location.

Perfect place to stay

We had other family, 10 total, staying at another property on Fence Lake, and we could not have picked a better place for me and my wife to stay than The Fence Lake Retreat. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. I’m sure the tv was nice, but we never even turned it on…too busy enjoying the lake and all of the surroundings. It was great to be able to be picked up at our dock by boat from the other family members who were also staying in the lake. I would advise that if you have trouble with steep steps, to be area that you will need to navigate many steps on a pretty steep decline/incline when using the dock. The owner was very quick to respond and easy to deal with. If we decide to stay at Fence Lake in the future, this will be the first place I look for!

Great Location

My husband fished the chain for 3 days. The location was close to all the boat landings, close to downtown Minocqua and peaceful. The porch over looks the lake, which was nice since I spent alot of time out there studying for a test. We did not park our boat at the dock overnight due to the winds. The neighbor did and had no issues. There are a lot of stairs going down to dock, not a big deal for us but something to be aware of. Will definitely book here again if it is available.

Great Property

Very nice, lakefront property with dock. Screened room facing the lake is a wonderful place to relax and protects you from the mosquitos which came out in big numbers at dusk. We had beautiful sunsets most nights as we were lucky to have clear skies most days. Would book this property again.
