It was quiet, comfortable, and had a relaxed vibe that made the trip easy.The location was a big plus for us. Hammonasset Beach was only a few minutes away, and Madison center was just as close, which made it easy to grab dinner or pop out for anything we needed. The outdoor fireplace was also a really nice touch and made the evenings feel special.Overall, it was a simple, comfortable stay in a great spot, and we’d definitely come back."

The home itself was sparkling clean and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the thoughtful amenities! Perfect location for families - our 4 year old son LOVED the air hockey table upstairs, and we had quite a bit of fun with all of the boardgames. "This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! It is quiet, but in easy driving distance to the town of Chester, and is decorated in a tasteful and fun way. The kitchen is well appointed, bedding comfortable, and the location is great - with access to the lake beach included. The host was very responsive and pleasant in all communications. We highly recommend this lovely property!"
