"Llegamos al lugar y no pudimos quedarnos porque nos dijeron que estaba reservado. Nos atendieron con mucha prisa porque tenían que salir. Nos ofrecieron una opción muy diferente a lo que buscamos y por lo que pagamos. Los dueños (los hijos) asumieron que nosotros teníamos que saber que había que llamar antes (para esa gracia mejor uno llama, no reserva por expedia). "Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"Lovely stay! Plenty of room and patio is very comfortable as well. Down the street from main property, so accessing other on-site amenities like the pool is not as easy. Booked through Expedia and received different messaging and instructions through both Expedia and VRBO apps. But VRBO instructions were very good. Guest must message host through VRBO to actually reach them."

"Clean and safe location. Located near all of the tourist activities but quite far from town and would require a vehicle. Host was wonderful to communicate with, hot water stopped working and it was fixed within minutes by staff. Overall excellent stay I would book again."
