"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Had some trouble with the hot water to wash basin & sink but managed ! The apartment was a little gloomy but the weather was bad when we went which didn’t help. It’s a basement conversion so the approach to the entrance was not very attractive with very high walls. Ook is er een kast vol spelletjes. In de omgeving is zeer veel te bezichtigen en te doen. Vanuit het huis kun je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. "Firstly Anni is an excellent host. Great communications throughout with plenty of ideas and local information.... and more when you meet her! We had a couple of minor issues whilst staying there, but once again she was fantastic and sorted them out quickly! The Gite is what I would describe as typical for the area. Quite dark inside, but lots of character. Clean on arrival and had all we needed. Pool was well used by us, better on hot days.... bit nippy on moderate days! All in all a good...

"Smelly property that did not feel clean, didn’t feel like a particularly safe neighbourhood - and the double door and strong locking mechanisms only made us more worried. Old towels, bedding didn’t smell clean, untidy bathroom. We stayed the night as a last resort and got out of there early in the morning. Went to Carcassonne a castle that was unexpectedly large and beautiful. "
