Unless you're on a getaway, forget your car, as you'll find all the essential shops, mini-market, local produce stores, restaurants, bars, Tuesday market, sports equipment rental, nightclub, as well as valley shuttles to get you from Briançon to Monêtier, less than 10 minutes' walk away.
