Very helpful, friendly, and beautiful staff who pampered me while I was recuperating from a pulled knee ligament. Young Deborah and Pierre especially could come home with me to befriend my two offspring of the same age. The place itself is a gorgeous neo-classical structure of heavy sandstone blocks finished with contemporary fixings that together create a refined yet funky air of nouveau chic. Great value too.

Emplacement parfait pour découvrir La Rochelle à pied ! Une hébergement bien constitué avec une chambre partagée spacieuse, des sanitaires éloignés pour éviter les nuisances sonores. Seul bémol, le dépôt du bagage à l’arrivée, avant l’horaire de prise de chambre, est payant. Montant faible (max 5€) mais dans le principe d’une auberge de jeunesse, c’est un service qui ne devrait pas être facturé.

Un hostel très correct aux bonnes prestations

Un dortoir de deux et quand même un espace appréciable pour se reposer et préparer ses bagages. Continuez à bien entretenir les locaux afin que tout reste propre et sans poussières car dans les chambres, avec le bois et les draps, il faut beaucoup aspirer car beaucoup de pluches peuvent se former. Le choix au petit-déjeuner est superbe et tout est appétissant.

Séjour en famille

En visite à la Rochelle, nous sommes venus en famille pour une nuit. Les plus : Proche centre ville et situé dans une ruelle plutôt calme. Très beau bâtiment renovée et super decoration. Prix abordable Pas de parking gratuit à proximité mais possibilite de se garer proche de l'etablissement tout de même à moindre coût Malgré que ce soit une auberge de jeunesse peu de nuisance vis à vis des clients (il y en a mais on le sait en choississant ce genre d'établissement). Les moins : Pas de buffet pour le petit dejeuner (chaque produit se paie à l'unité). Petit dejeuner inclus uniquement continental (1 demi baguette ou 1 croissant et 1 boissons chaude ou froide). Proximité avec l'accueil pas idéal pour une chambre familial (une chambre en retrait aurait évité d'être réveillé par un aspirateur (?!) à 3h du matin par exemple)

Bon Séjour

Cet hôtel est exactement ce que j'attendais. Il se trouve proche du centre, donc le déplacement n'est pas un problème, c'est à seulement quelques minutes à pied de La Grosse Horloge. L’heure du Check-in est à 15h donc c’est pas trop tard comme dans des autres hôtels, et ça permet d’y arriver et après aller se promener dans la ville. Les toilettes et les douches sont propres et toujours disponibles, malheureusement la nuit il faisait un peu chaud. Les chambres sont propres également, et le service est très bon, les réceptionnistes sont gentilles. Le lit était confortable. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de place pour ranger la valise pour ceux qui dorment dans le lit du haut. Les couvertures sont confortables. La réception est agréable, j'y ai pris le petit-déjeuner et c'était bon.
