Golf Course Retreat w/ Private Casita Steps to La Quinta Resort & Pools

  • Welcome to your private desert retreat in Santa Rosa Cove, one of La Quinta's most desirable gated communities. Perfectly positioned on the 10th fairway of the iconic Mountain Golf Course, this beautifully renovated 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home combines resort-style amenities with the comfort and care of a privately owned residence.

Unlike many vacation rentals, this home is personally owned and managed—not by a large management company. We take pride in providing a thoughtfully maintained home, exceptional cleanliness, responsive communication, and the kind of personalized service that turns first-time guests into returning visitors.

The home's west-facing location captures spectacular sunsets over the Santa Rosa Mountains each evening. Whether you're enjoying morning coffee on the patio, grilling dinner in the private courtyard with the custom chef's BBQ, or relaxing with friends overlooking the golf course, every outdoor space has been designed to embrace La Quinta's indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

One of the home's most unique features is the detached private casita, providing additional privacy for couples, extended family, or guests traveling together. Inside, vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, comfortable furnishings, and an open floor plan create an inviting space that feels like home from the moment you arrive.

The fully equipped kitchen is stocked for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners, while hotel-quality linens, premium towels, Smart TVs, and high-speed mesh WiFi provide all the comforts of a luxury stay. A dedicated home office with a large monitor makes the property equally suited for extended stays and remote work.

Guests enjoy full access to Santa Rosa Cove's pools, hot tubs, and tennis courts, all just steps away, while the legendary La Quinta Resort is an easy walk for dining, cocktails, spa treatments, and golf. Old Town La Quinta, hiking trails, shopping, pickleball, the BNP Paribas Open, Coachella, Stagecoach, and countless desert attractions are all within a short drive.

Whether you're planning a golf getaway, a family vacation, a month in the desert, or simply a peaceful escape under the California sun, this home offers an exceptional combination of location, privacy, comfort, and attentive owner-managed hospitality.

We look forward to welcoming you to La Quinta.

Spacious and welcoming home

The property owners Sam and Gary bent over backwards to make us comfortable, and were extremely responsive to all of our needs. They left us some wonderful goodies as welcome gifts, which was such a nice touch. The home was well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment and towels, and my guests loved the spaciousness of the living room so that we could stretch out for conversation or to watch the huge TV. The en suite bathroom accommodations with two queen beds and casita were perfect for a golf foursome. It was also entertaining to watch the golfers on the 10th fairway of the Mountain Course play right in front of us whilst relaxing on the patio. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Great rental and owners

Wonderful home owners. We had fresh flowers on two tables, a stocked wine bar with wine and seltzer’s, fresh fruit, wonderful big house, big open floor plan, immediate fixes to any issues including a new dishwasher and smoke alarms. We loved the location and we had two patios. Very quiet at night. We would come back again.

Too Many Positives to List!

This property was perfect for our trip. It's easy access to everything in La Quinta and a short walk to the clubhouse at the La Quinta Mountain & Dunes courses. Property management/ownership was exceptional, they maintained a level of communication throughout the booking to ensure our booking was everything as promised online. This listing far exceeded our expectations.

Fabulous experience, beautiful home.

We just finished an amazing stay at this beautiful home on the golf course in La Quinta. The owner is extremely helpful and answered all of our quesitons before we arrived and continued to promptly communicate with us when needed during our stay. The home was EXACTLY as pictured and described on the website and even better, everthing in the home worked perfectly and came with detailed instructions. The entire home and grounds was immaculate and felt much like staying at a 5 star hotel. Can't say enough about this wonderful rental experience except that we are hoping to return soon with our entire family.
