"The absolute best location. Beautiful beach, 10 minutes from the natural waterslides in the rain forest. Our daughters took surfing lessons right in front of the house. The house had everything we needed, comfortable beds and most importantly a variety of pillow types. That is the most underrated convenience for a person who cannot sleep without the right pillow. The host was accommodating and very responsive. We loved everything about this place. "

"I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. I have stayed in busy and noisy hotels all over and have never had to resort to the earplugs that were left in the nightstand. The Google Map link sent to me wouldn’t work which created confusion about directions. I ended up 20 minutes away from the Inn and then had to backtrack. It was so poorly marked that the person who I called for help referenced a nearby coffee shop in order for me to find it. No ice either. Definitely would not recommend. "

"This was one of the nicest experiences we’ve had! I stayed here with my kids, and it was perfect for a family getaway. The pool being right in the backyard was a huge plus, and there are tennis courts just around the corner. The beach is only a five-minute walk away, which made everything super convenient.The community felt very safe and quiet, and the location is great—close to San Juan, the rainforest, and other attractions, with easy access to get around.The house itself was beautiful and very clean. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.Overall, it was a very relaxing experience. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it! If we ever come back we will definitely stay at this place. "
