"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"We loved the hotel and the facilities were really nice for families, it was big enough without being overwhelming. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. My husband hired a bike for the day and it was very reasonable and easy. I also enjoyed an amazing massage in our apartment. The pool was fantastic and plenty of space for all! Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend! "

"The two hosts were very friendly and helpful. The flat was very well furnished. The location private and quiet. We were there without a car, which wasn't a problem as there was a shop a quarter of an hour away and a well frequented bus stop. However, the house is on a steep slope. You should therefore be reasonably fit. A few minutes down the slope there are impressive cliffs and the wild surf of the Atlantic to marvel at.
