"What a wonderful place!! Sam was there to welcome us and with a large, multiage family we were never short of things to do. The movie room kept the teenagers happily gaming away and the pool kept the little ones cool. We enjoyed meals on the patio and a well stocked kitchen with excellent air conditioning in every room. "Clean and recently renovated apartment in the middle of Castelnaudry. Parking free on the street in front. We stayed three nights, rented e-bikes at La Roue Qui Tourne in Castelnaudry, and had a fun visit. I understand from the owner that there normally is an extra fee for towels, so be aware. You will also need to pay attention to the detailed instructions provided by the owner to open the front security door."

"It’s located in a wonderful place right in the middle of town. There was briefly a bad smell in the room when we checked in, but it dissipated after a while. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"A brilliant location in the shadow of the ramparts with an indoor and outdoor breakfast area. Breakfast isn't cheap, but it is value for money. A very short walk to the Narbonne Gate leading into the main streets of the citadel. My room was bright and funky, a short walk from the main building, with access to the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. There is also a peaceful, covered sitting area near the pool. 24 hour reception, with 24 hour available for drinks and snacks. There is a small but lovely spa area, with a pool and various treatments for couples and individuals. All the staff was charming and helpful. I didn't want to leave."

"The apartment perfectly situated; within an easy walk to Carcassonne Castle. It is about 10 mins walk from the market squares and restaurants. Across the road from the accommodation is a street full of restaurants and cafes. There were craft stalls Fridays during August. At the end of this street you can walk over the old footbridge to the main town. Carcasonne is an ideal base from which to explore the Occitanie region. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and excellent value with integral A/C, balcony, secure free parking, EV charging point and towels provided. The kitchen was well equipped apart from not having a cook’s knife or cafeteria to brew our own coffee. Staff were excellent and spoke English. Breakfast and dinner are offered on site for an additional price. Would highly recommend!"
