We were surprised by the cleaning fee given if you are not in a position to spend half a day scrubbing down the facility. Communications with the owner were in French and required us to electronically translate everything. Do know that the only bathroom is down a quite narrow and winding staircase and that both bedrooms are upstairs」

「Lovely cottage, full of character and very well-equipped. Superb location, a short walk to Asnelles beach, and a short drive to Arromanches. Bayeaux is also in easy reach by car.Both the owner and managing agent are extremely responsive and helpful.We visited in October so were not able to make use of the secluded garden area, but I think it would be very nice in the sunnier months.
