「The lobby and restaurant have a dignified atmosphere with historic furniture, and the room we stayed in had ample space with two bedrooms and a living room. The staff were gentlemen with a calm demeanor and were kind enough to accommodate us even though we didn't speak English well. 「GWに２泊。坂の上、公園の隣、静かで川沿いに出やすい落ち着いてたエリアです。外は風が強く吹いてますが、室内は熱くも寒くもなく快適。建物の中は写真の通り、特にライブラリーの客室はとても素敵です。もともと女主人のお部屋だとか。ジャーナリストでもあり、女性の教育のために尽力されたそうで、壁一面の本も彼女の蔵書。部屋のテイストはクラシックですが、水回り・室内はしっかりリフォームされており、たいへん清潔でした。本棚も埃っぽくなく、木材がきちんと磨かれているみたいに輝いていたのに感動しました。 朝食も新鮮なフルーツ、ふわふわなクロワッサン等盛りだくさんで、大変おいしかったです。 大変素敵なB&Bです。こんなお家で暮らしてみたい。」

「連絡してあったのでレイトチェックインも気持ちよくしてくださいました。 建物はとても古いですがきちんと手入れされていて、清潔な印象です。 最新のホテルのような便利さはないですが、必要なものはほぼろっており温かみがあって素敵なホテルです。 部屋にポットや飲み物はありませんが頼めば一階の食堂でいただけます。 朝ご飯が間に合わないときは前日にパックに詰めて準備してくれます。 古いホテルでエレベーターがないので、それが気にならない人にお勧めします。」
