「The property and its grounds are beautifully situated amongst the vines, for a peaceful relaxing stay. Our only disappointment was that the osteria/restaurant and gardens were completely unavailable for the second night of our stay. It would have been preferable to be advised of this on or prior to arrival rather than on the day, so we could have made alternative arrangements for dinner. 「Easy and free parking, comfortable air conditioned room, nice breakfast and friendly staff. In short, a pleasant place to stay in the countryside. It’s not luxurious but ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for solid accommodation. We didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked nice. The restaurant on the premises served a delicious pizza and there’s a view of the lake from its terrace.」

「Premesso che la location è davvero bella, la nostra stanza era una doppia standard di cui ho particolarmente apprezzato la comodità del letto e il bagno con doccia molto ampia. Per un hotel di questo livello ci sono alcuni dettagli migliorabili. Non c’era dell’acqua se non a pagamento nel figo bar, gli asciugamani viso erano delle salviette.. piccole cose che ad un certo livello fanno la differenza. La location perdona tutto」

「Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt im Corteallago und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und alles war jederzeit tadellos sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch das schöne Badezimmer sowie die gesamte gepflegte Atmosphäre der Unterkunft. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet – mit viel Auswahl und alles liebevoll zubereitet. 「Good quality/price balance」

「Ein altes Familiengeführtes Hotel, was neue Möbel und Sanierung benötigt, rustikale alte italienische Möbel. Es ist ein sehr schönes Gebäude in einer guten Lage zum shoppen und viele Restaurants. Sehr kleine vollgestopfte Zimmer. Für den Preis ist es ok. Wer mit dem Auto anreist musst sich einen Parkplatz suchen, da das Hotel nicht direkt angefahren werden kann.」

「Great place with a beautiful location by the lake, and amazing gardens. We had wonderful days at Splendido. We would come back. But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive).
