We stayed 3 nights and this place was an absolute gem! Frederic was a wonderful host- from before we arrived he was taking care of us-he ensured we made it into town without a problem. The decor was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. if you get a chance to stay at the wonderful inn do not hesitate- my favorite place in 🇫🇷

This was a unique experience - the hotel itself (17th century mention), the decor and atmosphere and most importanlty sevice and attention by Frederic (who was fantastic). We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every bit of it. It was almost like visitng your French ancle !!

Absolutely 5 star experience! A must visit and stay! The owner is lovely and goes out of his way to make you the most welcome, helpful for hiding you around and this spot is in the heart of the most charming part! Breakfast was amazing but the atmosphere is something you just can’t duplicate and they are the most gracious hosts!

Best hotel, best services.

We fell in love with this hotel and this town. Frederique was the super host. Lovely rooms and very nice daily breakfast. The hotel is located right in the beatiful part of town, where the sunday market is. People are very friedly here. We would definitely come back.

Belle intérieur de bâtisse 17ème très bien restaurée avec goût et imagination. Superbement située près des canaux et de l’abatialle. Très grande suite junior avec grande hauteur sous plafond et poutres dans laquelle on se sens presque trop bien. Il faut se forcer pour en sortir !

Boutique Hotel in the Heart of L'Isle de Sorgue

Warm and friendly greetings by the Host when we arrived at the Hotel, who spoke perfect English. The Hotel was converted from a period French Mansion House into a Boutique style of Hotel. It is located in the centre of the town, very close to all of the shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The conversion has been very tastefully carried out by the Host to maintain its old world charm and splendour. The room we stayed in was very large and beautifully decorated with a very modern and stylish en-suite bathroom and toilet. The breakfast was of a Mediterranean style provided with a variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, pastries and yogurts along with a cooked selection of eggs with bacon. Attached to the Hotel is their Arts and Crafts gallery selling fine works of art and sculptures Car parking was made very easy by the Host, in this busy town by allowing our rented car to be placed in their garage for the duration of our 3 day stay in L'Isle de Sorgue

Una piacevole sorpresa in pieno centro

La bellezza e la particolarità di questa casa in pieno centro è al suo interno: nel suo arredamento, nella struttura antica e molto mossa, nel padrone di casa sempre presente, disponibile, pronto a prenotare e consigliare, sorridente e poi nella magica atmosfera di un inaspettato giardino interno (con tanto di piscina) dove al mattino si consuma una prima colazione ricca e bellissima sotto un platano centenario. Anche il paese attorniato dalle acque che scorrono anche sotto e accanto alle case è molto bello e il nostro gentile e competente ospite ci ha prenotato dei ristoranti buoni e particolarissimi. Anche il pranzo in pescheria da lui consigliato in giorno di mercato è stato ottimo e originalissimo. La nostra stanza era molto ampia con letto a baldacchino molto comodo e delizioso il bagno vecchio stile. Il soggiorno qui vale sicuramente la gita.

I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. The whole experience was delightful. The town is an excellent base for touring the area, charming and friendly and really comes to life at the weekend. The hotel hosts couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful and provided a delicious breakfast each morning. It felt like being a special guest in their private home.

Great intimate hotel in an outstanding location

The hotel was right in the center of the island and convenient to all of the shops and restaurants. The owner, Fredrick, and his wife were delightful and helpful in every respect. It was a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Provenance.

Fantastic location. Large comfortable rooms. Service very accommodating. Breakfasts a must to sign up for. Do not let them park your car for you because they charge 25E per night and there is a free lot next to the property.

Wonderful time you have

I had a great time to spend the time there. The cost was expensive but the room was so big and cozy. The welcome drink was wine from the local place. It was very nice. The owner was really friendly and kind to me. I will go there again with my parent next year!!! Thank them so much.

L'atmosfera, appena si entra alla maison sur la sorgue, è incantata. I locali sono arredati con oggetti particolarissimi, fini, con un gusto raffinato. Il gestore è accogliente e gentile, ti fa sentire subito a casa. La boutique propone oggetti artistici unici e di pregio. La stanza è spaziosa e confortevole, e arredata con lo stesso gusto raffinato che c'è dappertutto. Un soggiorno unico
