Could have been a 5 star review
Make no mistake this is a fantastic property in a great location. It is very private, well furnished with an excellent outdoor space. There were some negatives which could easily have been resolved, enabling us to have left a well-deserved five-star review. We were told the pool would be heated to over 30c. On arrival it was set to 27c also in fault and too cold for my wife to use. It took until our 3rd day (out of 5) for the issue to be resolved. The pool then heated up properly and was a great size to swim in. Also, we only had three towels in total, for the two of us, and on messaging at first, we were advised "we provide one small towel per swim and one large towel per person" this then changed to only one bath towel and one hand towel per person and that we could have extra towels for 5 per towel. We only had three towels in total (1 hand and 2 bath) so were one short and we did not get another towel brought to the house. Luckily, we had brought our own towels with us to use by the pool. I do find it odd that a six-person property had so few towels especially when all of the beds are made up despite the number of people staying. I owned and rented out a property in Florida for 20 years and always made sure there we plenty of bath towels, pool towels and hand towels in the house. Last thing was the house does not have 1.5 bathrooms as advertised. It has a toilet, with no sink, and a separate shower room with twin sinks but no toilet which is misleading in the advert.
