Great traditional Japanese ryokan. Great area with park and food near by. Only 20 min taxi to shrines and temples. The outside onsen was sugoi!

We loved staying here on our honeymoon! We were visiting from Canada. We had plenty of space and loved using the outdoor bath! It was basically a private onsen. The tatami mats in the living room and upstairs made our experience very special. The hosts were very kind and communicative as well. The location was nice and quiet, just off a main street with lots of delicious restaurants and transportation to get around easily to tourist destinations. Highly recommend for a special Kyoto experience! We would love to stay here again and will recommend to all our friends.
