房間設施簡單, 但尚算舒適 ! 如果習慣酒店的, 可能不太喜歡這類房間, 只是一個體驗, 是可以的 !

tradition aka discomfort

This guest house is in a lane without English name, so you better pin down its location to find it. In order to get to your room you have to get your shoes off, get into slippers, go 6 steps, change to outdoor slippers, go 12 steps, change to indoor slippers, and get up about 12 stairs with your luggage to your room that has a bathtub sized for a year years old. luckily did not rain, otherwise my socks would have been heavily soaked, during this journey. And all these for $ 80. She called it Japanese custom, and I say for $ 25 I accept, but for $80? who are you kidding!!!!! On top of that, missing the 10 am check out time by 15 minutes cost extra 2000 yen/15 min Imagine what kind clientele frequented her place in the past to implement such a rule. In addition to this there no hot water supply all day.

일본 가정집을 개조한 숙소에요. 다다미방을 체험할 수 있다는 게 장점. 위치는 지하철 시조역에서 도보로 5분정도인데 택시기사도 잘 못찾아서 무척 헤맸어요 가을 단풍 시즌에 간거라 숙소 구하기가 무척 어렵더라구요 호텔 가격이 터무니없이 비싸서 할 수 없이 선택했는데.. 불편한 점이 많았어요. 그닥 청결하지도 않았구요. 다만 여주인이 무척 노력하고 있다는 인상은 받았습니다. 24인치 캐리어를 직접 2층까지 들어서 옮겨주어 미안하고 고맙고 그랬네요.

Budget hotel

This hotel is a good example of the saying 'you get what you pay for'. We stayed for nearly a week in winter. Clean accom with basic facilities and friendly staff. Pros: close to subway, some local restaurants and bars very close, air con, wifi in rooms. Cons: unsightly water damage to ceiling, tatami mats had strong odour, low light in bathroom, uncomfortable futons and pillows. Ok accom if you'd like to save some dollars, but nothing fancy.

Great value. Pleasant, comfortable and convenient

First of all, it must be said that hotel rooms in Japan are small. Traditional rooms like ones at Kyoto Costa Del Sol, with tatami mats, make living in small space and sleeping on futon mattresses comfortable. You can fold the mattress and, voila, there's space for you to use. I stayed in a single room with private cubicle-style bathroom which was a plus. The hotel manager, Miki-san, is friendly and attentive. She speaks English fluently and is always very helpful with anything that make my stay comfortable. Thank you so much, Miki-san. The hotel is located near Gojo subway station on Karasuma Line which is super easy to get to other parts of Kyoto. Miki-san has those informations for you too. There are lots of convenient stores around, place to get breakfast and coffee (super important) and other meals. Fresco supermarket nearby stocks great bento and other Japanese food and snacks. Highly recommended.

Pleasant stay, the staff is very nice and speaks English, a nice onsen just around the corner, the room was nice (Japanese style room), plus there is a kitchen and seating area where you can relax.

The hotel is close to Kyoto Station, just about 15 minutes' walk from there. And the owners were very helpful. They also charged very low for the washing machine.

我是9月7日入住，那天我們遲了去民宿，我們打了電話告訴老闆娘我們晚上才能到，她的態度很好，雖然洗手間太細，浴缸看似殘舊，但房間算是整潔，我們都住得不錯，廚房是共用的，吹風機可以自行在走廊拿取，整體都不錯

호텔이란 느낌보단 원룸과 거의 비슷하지만. 정말 직원분이 친절하셔서 좋았습니다!!! + 공간이 생각보다 넓어서 좋았어요 그래도 부엌, 냉장고 같은 경우가 공용시설이라, 좀 불편하긴했습니다:) 가격대비 정말 좋았어요!

房間看的出稍有年紀，但是整理的很乾淨，完全沒有異味或奇怪的生物XD該有的基本設備和服務也都算充分。雖然大廳處略小，但是房間空間很大，又能體驗日式房舍的榻榻米。如果不是非常要求住宿品質需很高級的遊客，就還蠻推薦的！而且價錢便宜又離多個景點不遠！唯一的小缺點大概就是check-in時間只到晚上9點，要注意時間。

ちょっとだけ残念

宿泊費の安さ、清潔さ、スタッフさんの感じ良さはかなり評価が高いのですが、夜中２４時から朝6時までシャワーのお湯が出ないのが残念です。丁度その時間が、シャワーしたいクラブイベントに出かけたので。たまたまお湯が、辛うじて出たので急いで使いましたが。そうでなかったら最悪な滞在になるところでした。

京都の桜を見に外国の友人夫妻を案内するのにこのホテルを見つけました。初めての人には解りにくい道でしたが、慣れると駅から近く大変便利。部屋はこじんまりですが、とても清潔で良かったです。ただ、生活に最低限必要な湯上りタオルが一枚のみでフェイスタオルが一枚は欲しかった。鏡も小さすぎ、最低でもＡ４サイズは欲しい。夜は何もすることが無いので、ニュースソースがないため、２日の滞在中陸の孤島になってしまった。できれば共通の新聞とか、ＴＶは少なくとも１１時３０分までは見れるようにしていただけるとアットホームになると思います。ご主人も奥様もとても感じが良く楽しく過ごせました。是非また寄せていただきたく思います。ありがとうございました。

Diciamo che ha l'aspetto del ryokan, ma è molto scomodo e la posizione non è il massimo. Il tatami puzza in maniera pesante. Non c'è la TV, ma era da aspettarselo, per arrivare alla camera bisogna togliersi le scarpe per entrare e infilarsi delle ciabatte poi togliersi le ciabatte e rimettersi le scarpe e quindi aperta una porta scorrevole ritogliersi le scarpe e rimettersi le ciabatte per poi toglierle entrati in camera. La notte sembra di entrare da ladri e non bisogna far rumore, anche se le porti scorrevoli cigolano.

Experience of old fashioned Japanese Tatami room

The only disadvantage is that no hot water after midnight until 6am. We were there during the season changing from winter to spring thus, the weather was still cold. We went out early in the morning and back to room for rest only at midnight. Although the owner did inform us upon check in, it was quite inconvenient for us whose main purpose of trip is sightseeing outdoors. However, the tatami room promised a quality sleep.

Perinteinen japanilainen majatalo rauhallisella paikalla, mutta kuitenkin lähellä Kioton päärautatieasemaa. Vaatimaton mutta siisti huone jossa toimiva kylpyhuone. Vastaanotto vähän huonosti avoinna päivän mittaan, mutta työntekijän ystävällisyys korvasi paljon.

ツインに一泊しました。シャワーのお湯が出る時間や受付時間に限りがありますが、不便は感じませんでした。大通りから入ったところにあるため、静かで過ごしやすかったです。

離五条站很近,接待人員英文好~還幫我們訂燒肉的位

接待人員英文好, 本來是寫九點前check in, 因為出了點狀況來不及, 很nice的畫了張房間位置的地圖, 和鑰匙一起放在櫃檯桌面給我們, 除了上樓樓梯小了點外, 其他住宿經驗是非常滿意的^__^
