After a days nature adventures in the national parks nearby (Oulanka, Riisitunturi, Salla) you can chill in the sunset river views on the riverbank of Kitka river in a cozy fully equipped apartment with sauna. Listening to the night calls of the swans or cranes or watch an occasional reindeer wonder by.

Days activities vary from hiking under the midnight sun or autumn colors, canoeing in beatiful Oulanka river or river rafting through the rapids of Kitka river. Biking, or in the winter skiing or snowshoeing in the same area or doing downhill skiing in Ruka Ski Resort.

Hassle free place to stay. Grocery store and petrol station just 500m away at the village. Bus connection from the night train from Helsinki to Kemijärvi via Rovaniemi will transport you in front of the village grocery store nearby this home. Oulanka national park bus connections also stop in this same place. Kuusamo airport is 43km away. Driving from Helsinki is a day trip. Owners are happy to help plan your trip!
