「Pros: The house is warm in the cool and cool in the heat, with an amazing view over the Adige valley… We got to try some wine made with the family’s grapes, which was delicious! Carmen was kind and helpful if we needed anything, and has put a lot of thought into providing information about the local area! The area itself is right on the wine route, with easy access to Bozen and the Dolomites… Fabulous place to stay! Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!」

Termeno Sulla Strada del Vino

「I don’t think the pictures here do the hotel justice. We spent nights on the balcony enjoying the view over the vines and valley. Staff are friendly and present. Pool is good size and more sunbeds available to use on terrace. The sunbeds could do with updating (quite uncomfortable). The small kitchen unit in the room was handy if you choose to self cater. I would have loved more luxurious towels and pool towels too. Minor criticisms though for a super hotel. There’s some super restaurants...

「The management had changed hands only one week before the arrival of our group of 38 people. Dinner was expected as had been booked but the new manager was not aware. A lovely local lady was employed to be a translator as the group were all English and did not speak good Italian. A menu was provided by the hotel and the group were all fed. The hotel exchanged breakfast for the evening meal at their expense which was a welcome offer by the group.」

「Our experience at Hotel Steiner was unfortunately very disappointing. One of the main reasons we specifically chose this hotel was air conditioning, yet it did not work properly for a significant portion of our stay. Whenever we contacted the staff with a question or problem, they seemed unsure how to help and the response was almost always, “We will call you back.” To their credit, they usually did call back, but unfortunately the follow-up rarely provided an actual solution or a clear answer...
