"What an unexpectedly seamless stay! There was a shuttle bus that met us at the Shinkansen station that took us to the Onsen. When we arrived, we were ushered to a comfortable lobby for check-in. The bellman showed us the entire hotel and onsen, and walked us through our kimonos and slippers. Lovely breakfast, lovely rooms, lovely Onsen... and another free shuttle back to the Shinkansen station. We will definitely return! "

"Its a "romance hotel," which I didn't realize until I got there, so I was naturally confused when I entered the front door as there is no reception desk just 4 buttons you can press to select your room type and a phone. "Excellent all the way around! This is our 2nd time staying at DAIWA. We stayed at one in Aomori in 2019 and was very impressed! Love the breakfast great selection and unlike other hotels they didn’t cut back. We love the shower/bath combo set up especially! Rooms are good size. The only disappointment the washer and dryer was constantly BUSY! I managed to get one load done. It didn’t matter what time! I got done at 10pm. Other than that we highly recommend DAIWA, it’s worth it."
