"Wonderful stay! Very well-preserved traditional house with two floors and a traditional-style super clean wooden bath/bathtub too. We enjoyed little walks on a nearby small path surrounded by trees, and also got the chance to venture a bit further onto the former castle site (now a park) to walk by the moat and visit the shrine. We have had a few hectic days before this visit, and this was the perfect place to unplug."

"We loved our stay in this traditional Japanese home! Kibana is a beautiful area surrounded by nature. We didn't have a car, but it only took about 10 minutes to walk to the train station, and 20-25 minutes to walk to either A-Coop, MaxValu, or Direx grocery stores. Same for the Lawson, FamilyMart, or 7-11. Aoshima is only a few train stops away. The Kumano staff was great at communicating via email. The use of a bike (with a lock) made trips to the grocery store a lot quicker. Just don't...
