"The room was clean but smelled of mildew, though that may just be the "island way." No transport from the airport but it was centrally located near shops and restaurants. Our child was disappointed in the pool policies, for instance, no kids in the pool after 5pm. We've traveled far and wide and never come across that as a policy."

"While ocean is visible and overall a clean room, you can still feel the building is old. Valet parking is expensive and takes some time to get the car so make sure you plan for that "

"Nice staff, decent rooms. They only do a towel/trash service every 4 days of your stay. They offer housekeeping at an additional charge. Which means if you want clean sheets after a week you have to pay for that... I get not doing this daily but every 4 days like the trash should be included. Otherwise we've never had a problem here. "

"Our stay in Honolulu was highly enjoyable, particularly as we were celebrating my mother's birthday, which she truly appreciated. We were somewhat taken aback to discover that this Hilton location does not provide any special offerings for birthdays. In contrast, our previous experiences at other Hilton establishments in California and Nevada included various birthday amenities. Nonetheless, the hotel staff were remarkably accommodating and hospitable, fulfilling our requests for additional towels, new trash bags, and other necessities. They also provided water tickets, allowing us to avoid unnecessary expenditures on bottled water. However, it is worth noting that the parking fees were exorbitant, even with the seemingly modest discount extended to guests. For our brief stay of five days and four nights, we incurred parking costs totaling nearly $200."

"Clean Room staff was helpful and location was excellent"

"Upon check in we were not happy with out room. As we checked in late at night we just decided to just go to bed and try for an upgrade the next day which we received at a more than fair cost. The new room was absolutely beyond what we could have expected with 90 degrees of ocean view from in front of the hotel all the way down to the lagoon. We enjoyed a full view of the fireworks one night. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes just across the road. Room service was great and nightly reception was a nice touch offering free drinks. The breakfast included allowed for a quick start in the day, not having to go outside of the hotel and eat at some other restaurant. Overall, the hotel exceed our expectations. "
