"A great spot to stay for a couple of nights. Our family of 4 had a relaxing break and enjoyed the added bonus of doing our own bonfire - with marshmallows and all - on the beach 2 minutes away from the cottage. Friendly hosts and good amenities. Recommended ! "

"We stayed at Hokitika’s Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels for one night and didn’t have much time to explore the area. The property is well maintained and offers all the key facilities you’d expect. Our room was comfortable, and everything worked well for a short stopover. A solid choice if you’re passing through."

"We had a great stay. The animals (alpacas and goats were fun), the glow worm fell was amazing (we liked it and we have previously been on a glow worm cave tour). The beach access was great. Room was clean and private."

"This was our favourite hotel during our 2 week trip. First, the location is fantastic and just a 5 min drive to the beach and shorter into town. Second, the rooms are fantastic! Everything was practical and well thought through. It was well ventilated and also had all the amenities we needed, plus everything was clean! Last, and what brought everything together is Phil and (I belive) his family who runs this place. He was friendly, accommodating, offered to help with our luggage, and even suggested to visit the wonderful park opposite the street. He even mentioned a free glow worm site but unfortunately we were unable to go for this. I would recommend this motel without reservation, especially if you need a pit stop before driving to Christchurch, though I wished we had stayed longer. Really love what Phil is doing with this place! "
