"My friend Amanda and I voted this the best vacation ever! The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. After all day of exploring the island we were so happy to have such a comfortable bed to sleep in. Su & Chris were so informative that it was like having your own concierge. Totally had fun going around the island on the scooters. Loved that we could just walk to the bars and restaurants. Chris makes awesome mojitos with the fresh mint he grows....

Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino

8/10 Good

"The resort was exactly what I was looking for: AI and close to the main town. I could walk to town every day, which was great — lots of restaurants and food options really close, so AI was just an option I enjoy having in vacation. The entire resort didn’t classify as AI, it’s an added option, which was interesting to navigate and understand… But I got the hang of it after a few days. I felt like the “off the menu” food options were really great quality, the buffet was just ok. My room was pretty dated and could use an upgrade. Besides the rooms, the resort is pretty clean and well taken care of. The pool and beach areas were clean. I was hesitant about the “lack of” a beach area I read of in reviews before booking. There is a beach, it’s a little rocky, but it works perfectly fine for daily snorkelling and just chilling in the ocean. One thing I was blown away with was how safe and comfortable I felt on the property. I would snorkel for hours, at times, and leave my stuff on a beach chair. But the same can be said for the entire island. Also, it was really cool to see how close Klein Bonaire was to the main island. It was beautiful to look at at sunset during dinner every night."

Pink Lagoon by Boutique Bonaire Unique Resorts

"I'm trying to give an honest review of Pink Lagoon. I booked on expedia for next day so that hindered their normal routine of emailing arrival instructions; however, they didn't try and contact me via expedia, nor answered the phone until well after check in. The room had a lot of ants. I found bug spray in a cabinet but then I couldn't stay in the room for the smell of the spray for hours. The bathroom smelled of sewer so I had to keep that room closed off and window open. The countertop stove never worked. No instructions were provided for any of the appliances. I never was able to get the microwave to work other than to heat up a pizza (2 hours). The cushions for the outside seating area were dirty from the birds. I love Bonaire's water normally but after the first day of drinking the water at Pink Lagoon I had intestinal issues and had to buy water. I've never had this issue on Bonaire, nor the week prior at another apartment. There was no local tv. Just netflix that someone left their password loaded on the tv. Prime streaming if you had your password. If this had been my first experience on Bonaire I would have been greatly disappointed. It was a basic room (studio), the price was right, but I was hoping for a better overall experience. I would not recommend this hotel. Even with no front desk, they could have provided better, cleaner, service of their rooms. The staff did work well with me once they answered the phone. I should have complained while there."

Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire - All Inclusive

"My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire. The resort was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the all-inclusive food and drinks, the relaxing beach area, and the stunning ocean views. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The location was convenient and made it easy to enjoy Bonaire’s natural beauty. The only minor downside was that some services could be a little slow during busy times, but overall it did not affect our experience. We would definitely return and recommend this resort to couples looking for a relaxing Caribbean getaway."

The Bellafonte - Luxury Oceanfront Hotel

"The Bellefonte has been by far the absolute best place I have ever stayed. The views are amazing! You literally have everything at your fingertips. It is very close to just about everything there is to do. The rooms are more than you can ask for and the service is immaculate! If you're going to Bonaire, the Bellefonte is where you should stay."
