All was good. But no WiFi and no washer dryer as advertised. Bed and location good though and the front desk guy went above and beyond getting my deposit back

Great place to stay and relax and very affordable. Highly recommend a deluxe sweet, comes with your own pool. Really close to the beach and loads of great places to eat. Recommend hiring a scooter to get around and experience all beaches close by. Perfect place to catch the sunset with cocktails.

While staying at The Pelican I received a very mixed experience. Firstly we organised to be picked up by the hotel from the airport, this did not happen. After landing and collecting our bags at KBV, I messaged the driver to inform him of our arrival and check where he was. After already waiting for an hour in the airport I was informed he would be at least another hour. I decided to cancel and got a taxi for half the price the hotel was charging.
Upon arriving the staff was friendly and apologised many times for the inconveniences, just to inform us our room wasn’t ready and we would be staying in another room for the night.
It was clear the hotel was under renovation with loud banging and the sound of tools been used consistently occurring during the day. Coupling this with shouting, arguing and ‘banging sounds’ throughout the night from other guests made it hard to relax at times. While other guests being loud isn’t directly a hotel’s fault, when it happens 10/12 nights some accountability should be held.
We were also promised a bar, restaurant and room service. Sadly this was not provided. While yes the hotel has the facilities for this, we did not see them open once in the entire duration of our stay.
It’s hard to decide if I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. This is a transitional time for the hotel meaning that with time, review of process and some small adjustments this hotels customer satisfaction could improve.

It is a condominium building that is mostly empty. Balcony doors would not lock in the room. Service came to provide a temporary fix during our stay. Staff was very nice.

Ich liess mich nach der ersten Woche upgrade(n), die Terrasse war zwar kleiner, aber ich hatte einen Privatpool und insgesamt mehr Platz.
Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl in „meinem“ Appartement!

Staff at hotel was dishonest. Luggage was being rummaged. Lost money and items after housekeeping. Price for airport transfer was super expensive.

Vi var där i april 2024. Då var max 20% av hotellet igång. Övriga rum var "övergivna".
Vi bodde i ett Ocean view top floor med egen pool. Blev uppgraderade fran 2 till 3 rum. Jättefin lägenhet med stora ytor och 3 badrum!
Uteplatsen på taket med stor pool hade utsikt över "hela havet". Helt magiskt. Dock fanns inget soltak, det hade nog ruttnat, vår solsäng var möglig och det fanns inget solskydd.
Vi betalade 42000 baht för 4 nätter, det var det värt!
