「We had an amazing stay. As a regular traveller I have stayed in many resorts, hotels and holiday rentals Kurulu Estate is top notch and one of the most tranquil and relaxing places I have stayed. It is very secluded, with only two rooms on the property. It is in the jungle overlooking the mountains. This place really is a treasure. 「We had a fantastic stay at Lizard Safari Lodge. The rooms are clean and well kept, with a nice big bed, mosquito net and fan. Our room had a balcony which was great to sit out on in the late afternoon. Dinner was delicious on both nights of our stay (as was breakfast) with a good selection of food and very generous portion sizes! Nandu could not have been kinder, taking us on a tour of the village and to a local swimming spot on the afternoon of our arrival, and providing snacks and ice creams....

「It was the most amazing experience! I love the staff very friendly and kind. Help me with everything. Front house Sampath, dumindu and sithijaya , sahan, gayantha, Rukshan are awesome, Gave me the best service they could. Foods are delicious 😋, pool was clean and easy access. 「Toted as being one of the most remote hotels in SL the hotel did not disappoint. Fabulous location and well run for such a remote site. You certainly got a sense of the rainforest by the time you got there. Our container was comfortable and the bar and dinning rooms spacious. 「Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. 」

「Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.」

The included breakfast was plenty and very delicious and changed from day to day.
