"Loved the location, very close to town and pool was beautiful! Pool Bartender was so sweet and kind, breakfast was phenomenal!! The only reason i gave this a 4 star was because the bed sunk in so much we woke up with horrible back pain (nothing a mattress flip can’t fix) over all would recommend!!"

"The hotel/resort is spectacular! - incredibly clean, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful lounge/seating areas, salt water pool is a bonus, could not be happier about the jacuzzi, the breakfast choices was superb, and the view from the breakfast area is amazing! The only concern I would share is the location - it’s awesome that it is so close to the town but the because the hotel is located at the top of a hill the up-hill walk when returning from the town can be a bit of a challenge for folks who have bad knees and joints."

"We were surprised and charmed by this small hotel of 16 rooms.The staff were a joy! The receptionists were a mine of information and suggestions for the two local restaurants or ones further afield, for how to access the Sea Bus to the Old Port, or to tell us how to navigate the town and its worthwhile spots. The server in the breakfast room was sweet and cheerful at all times even when we were late down! Our only difficulty was the very steep hill from the main road to the front door of the hotel; even that was overcome by the kind owner coming to collect us. The pool was large and well kept with glass panels to keep out the wind and a view of the marina beyond. The rooms were well kept with soft new towels; they were quiet and air conditioned. We stayed for three nights on our way to Ikaria but would happily have stayed longer. Thank you for a great stay."

"This was an amazing stay. All was sensational from breakfast , room, and sunset view. I would have given the Alkyon a perfect score but the Pool Bartender was very greedy for drink sales. The first time at the beautiful pool we ordered belinis. Honestly they fell flat as they lacked bubbles and were not cold. So we opted on our next visit to stay away from alchohol and brought a couple of vitamin C rich orange juice, They came in plastic bottles so ...no worries by the pool. The Bartender informed us we could only drink beverages from the bar with exception of water upon his approval. It was dimeaning and repulsivily controlling. We decided that the beach would suffice rather than being bullied over beverages. Sad because the rest of the staff was amazing and this place deserved a perfect review untarnished by this event, We didnot think the situation warranted further thought as the Bartender touted rules that felt like a long winded excuse and we had a beautiful island to explore. The breakfast on the other hand was fabulous. The drivers, reception, and room service impeccable. Absolutly lovely."

"Close to ferry area but a very steep 10 minute walk to property. Staff was friendly but didn’t offer info about the area. We assumed there were no restaurants or markets nearby but after a day we realized there were options at the bottom of the hill. Sea Bus at bottom of hill took us to Mykonos city for 2.50 euros per person one way, left every half hour"
