We stayed here for a family vacation and it was the perfect size for two couples and a few small children (ages 3-5). The cabin is right at the end of a quiet road and has a beautifully spacious front facing deck that lets you watch almost the whole property, so the kids were free to run and play while the adults relaxed a bit. (Though worth mentioning there are some high rock wall terraces that would not be great for toddler age kids.)
Inside and out the cabin was generously furnished and very spacious. The kitchen was super well stocked and we didn't lack for anything when we were cooking. It might be worth bringing a spare propane tank if you are planning to BBQ frequently, as it can be hit or miss to get propane refilled without making the drive back into Creston.
We really enjoyed the Glass House, the very close Lockhart Beach, the sandier but slightly farther beach in Crawford Bay, and the day trip we took into Nelson via the ferry.
Definitely a fantastic experience and quite likely we will be back in the future!
