「Booked this hotel through Expedia prior to my trip, when I landed in Colombo I received a text message from a French (+33) number saying that my booking at The Coconut would be cancelled, and that the prices I had booked were no longer valid! A local has told us that the Indian company that owns the hotel has not paid the local staff wages and they have been forced to leave. 「We were 2 couples that stayed at Roccos for 2 1/2 weeks. Beautiful pool area, excellent service and really good food! We had breakfast included and tested all the tasty Sri Lanka dishes. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Roccos if/when we return to Arugam Bay <3」
