Thank you, again, Maureen, for a wonderful stay! Condo was perfect for the two of us. Beautiful view from lanai, great amenities (especially the in-unit washer & dryer), a short walk to sandy beach and bar / food, good staging area for all the activities we enjoyed. Glad we were here this time of year, though, and didn't need the available AC --- having the windows open for the breeze and being able to hear the ocean was much better. Would definitely book again on our next trip to Kauai!

My wife and I had a great stay here. The location was perfect; it’s a short walk to the beach and a few restaurants and bars. The unit had everything we needed, including a gorgeous view and the sound of waves crashing to fall asleep to. Our host, Maureen, was communicative and accommodating. We hope to be back soon.

Great location easy walk to Poipu beach. We choose not to cook but the House is nicely stocked if you wanted to. Really nice to have the air conditioning. Maureen is very communicative and she really wants her guest to have a great experience.

Good location, great communication, slightly dated interior

Ocean view, ocean sounds, good communication with host. Interior is dated. Well stocked with supplies, recent addition of AC and some kitchen appliances. Walking distance to Poipu beach.

Great location!

The location is great. Spectacular view up the coast and of sunsets. Saw turtles almost every time we took the short walk to Brennecke’s Beach Broiler (recommended). Condo is a little dated but get over that quickly and feel like you live in Kauai. Spent the second half of our trip at the Grand Hyatt but honestly preferred Sunset Kahili.

Great view and quiet

Property was very conveniently located near Poipu beach. Easy access, designated parking, quiet at night and easy to sleep and listen to the waves against the shore. Owner was very helpful. Neighborhood was clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

As good as it looks!

Fantastic spot if you love sunset from your own lanai! Kitchen has what you need, bed is comfy, and host is responsive. I would stay here again!

Absolutely Perfect!

I’m almost hesitant to write this review as I feel the less people know about this gem of a condo the better. It had an amazing view, mosaic tiled pool, huge shower, bidet, giant screen tv, fully stocked kitchen and linen closet. It was super clean, quiet and a very short stroll to the beach. Highly recommend!

Maureen was a very gracious host and had the condominium well stocked with basics that you would need like beach chairs coolers and things like that. The location is perfect if you want to go be at the beach and it is not very far from other things on the island. Highly recommend

A delightful getaway

Seeing and hearing the ocean, as well as beautiful sunsets while relaxing on the lanai - that's what a visit to sunny Poipu should include. The interior had an authentic island theme and was well-appointed. Thanks for the coffee bean grinder for enjoying local coffee! I've stayed at the nearby Grand Hyatt multiple times, but this felt more like the first visit to Kauai (including ocean breezes instead of AC) Would love to return!

2nd visit to Poipu

Sunset Kahili has nice ocean view. You could hear waves crashing but not so loud it would wake you from sleep. (I am a very light sleeper). Beautiful sunset view. Short drive or nice walk to Poipu Beach which has all you would want; beautiful beach,snorkel rental,food,lifeguard, showers, bathrooms… The condo was beautiful and had portable fans as well as ceiling fans. Nice breeze comes through kitchen. People were respectful of the quiet times, in fact it was never noisy. The pool was nice and not used much at at, but you are in Kauai with beautiful beaches! The condo has all the cookware you would need, and while we were there, coffee, many condiments and staples(olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise…) Kauai is the most beautiful place!! Maureen is an excellent host and was quick to reply if you had any questions.

The condo is conveniently located in a very nice area about ½ mile from Poipu beach and a couple of miles from the historic old Koloa town area which has a number of restaurants, shops, and brewery. The balcony faces the ocean with an unobstructed view. The owner, Maureen, has the condo unit stocked with all the amenities you will likely need for your stay including beach items such as chairs, umbrella, towels, and drink cooler. The pool is nice and uncrowded. We enjoyed our stay and would likely book this unit again if we return to Kauai someday.

The perfect stay in Kauai

We could not have imagined a better stay than this. The views of sunset here everyday was a dream. The condo had a plethora of amenities and was squeaky clean. The location is amazing if you are looking to explore the southern and western side of Kauai. There are a tons of things walking distance from the condo as well. Meeting Maureen was lovely, she made us feel right at home when we arrived. The overall experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Kauai! We hope to make a trip back in the near future and would definitely book this place again!

Kauai Gem

This condo/complex was everything my husband & I were looking for. Fantastic view, short walk to restaurants, beaches. Pool area was very clean, however we were always at the beach! We used the outdoor BBQ facilities a couple of times. Maureen was a great host & her home had everything we needed. We loved that she reached out upon our arrival to meet us & go over a couple of things. There isn't any air conditioning but even in June, the cool breeze flows through & keeps it very comfortable. We thank Maureen for her hospitality & should we ever visit Kauai again, we would stay here again.

Sunset Kahili 306

This was a wonderful place to stay in Poipu, close to the beaches, beautiful view every morning on the balcony with our coffee. The place had everything one would need to spend 2 weeks in Kauai: full kitchen, giant screen TV, beach chairs, umbrella, mats, ice chests, snorkel gear, washer/dryer, swimming pool, ceiling fans in living room and bedroom (no AC, but if you open up the windows the cross breeze and fans were more than enough). Maureen was a great host, very nice, friendly and accommodating and was there to take care of the few minor issues that came up during our stay. This was a great place to stay - would definitely stay here again.

First time to Kauai

Really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Kahili. Close enough to walk to Poipu Beach but very quiet and relaxing. Loved the ocean view from the condo and the walk along the beach trail. We didn't do a lot of cooking but the kitchen was well stocked. Perfect spot to explore Kauai!

Great Condo with Great Location
