FULL OCEAN VIEWS Poipu Beach House, LOVELY lanai and A/C

Aloha & welcome to our home - Hale Kika @ Poipu Kai resort. Hale Kika is an open concept beach house with great views from the main living area, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Views from the house span from the Haupu Mountain to full ocean views. Our 2-storey home offers a relaxed, quiet environment, with expansive covered Ipe lanais on both levels, perfect for enjoying your favorite book or a meal with family and friends. On the ground floor are 2 guest bedrooms, a bathroom and large laundry room with washer and dryer. One guest bedroom offers a queen-bed and a private Ipe deck & lanai with ocean views. The second guest bedroom offers 2 twin-beds which can be reconfigured as a king-bed.

Located on the 2nd floor is the master suite, and an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom is roomy, with a king-bed, an ensuite bathroom complete with double-sinks, a large dual-head walk-in shower and walk-in closet space for an extended stay. There are glorious views from the master as well.

The kitchen is updated with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove-top and oven (rare on Kauai), and beautiful Koa cabinetry. Our home is very well maintained and appointed with all the comforts of home as well as the amenities you need for your adventure exploring, snorkeling or swimming while on the island of Kauai. A great breeze circulates throughout to keep it cool and cozy during your stay.

Hale Kika is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, and plenty of open spaces to absorb the sun and view the Pacific. The Poipu Kai resort has carefully manicured grounds, well-lit walking paths, 8 tennis courts, and a recently remodeled resort pool and spa. Poipu Bay Golf (0.5 mile) and Kiahuna Golf (1.5 mile) courses are nearby. Hale Kika is within minutes from Shipwrecks Beach, one of our favorite surf spots; and the start of the famous Mahaulepu Heritage hiking trail; less than a 1/2 mile from Brenneckes Beach, Baby Beach; or from the Poipu Kai resort tennis courts and resort pool and spa.

Raff was a great host. We had a long travel day with an early arrival to the island. We asked for an early check in and Raff worked hard to make this happen. He stayed in constant contact, providing updates throughout the day. Great family get away.

We were visiting for the marathon/half marathon and the location was perfect. Beautiful views, very comfortable, and easy to get everywhere. Will stay here again.

Amazing property and location

This property was great for our family of 6, ranging from 17 to 73 years old. The view was great, the layout had room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The "beach closet" was great, with boogie boards, chairs, beach mats, toys, coolers, etc. Would highly recommend staying here.

Family Spring Break

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 on Spring Break. Great location with two wonderful beaches easy walking distance from the house. We even got to watch whales right off our Lanai! All the amenities were supplied with all the things we needed. There is even a basketball hoop that my kids used multiple times daily! Thank you! We will be back!

Great Family Stay

We had an amazing time at the house. It is well-appointed, clean and in a wonderful location. The layout was great for our family which included infants, adults and seniors. Gorgeous views and quiet at night. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating with my pre-trip and mid-trip questions and requests. Would love to stay there again and highly recommend to all!

Hawaii Family Vacation 2024

Beautiful views in Poipu!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Raf's home in Poipu. He is an excellent host and the home is even better than the pictures show. The view of the ocean is amazing and the beach amenities were great. We will certainly stay here again the next time we visit Poipu!

The location was perfect with a great view and a lanai that couldn’t be beat. We appreciated the walkability and the proximity of the property to two beautiful beaches. We will definitely come back.

Excellent stay with beautiful view

We highly recommend this property! The house is lovely and very well stocked. We absolutely loved the view! The privacy the home offers and location were excellent as well. There was lots to do nearby, including a beach that was walking distance and another beach that was less than a 5 minute drive, just to name a couple. Even getting to other parts of the island from this location was no problem. We would stay here again!

Wonderful family trip

We enjoyed our stay at the house so much. The house is beautiful and the view is even better. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the ocean. It was also fun to walk to Shipwreck Beach and the trail that runs beyond that. There were ample supplies - beach towels, chairs, body boards - in the closet that we could use. Would definitely stay at the house again!

Amazing Location!

We loved our stay here - we were a family of 5 with a teenager and grandparents included. The house is spacious and well set-up with all the amenities you need. It's very walkable, with Shipwreck beach, the pool and tennis about 5-10 mins, and Brennecke and Poipu about 10 - 15 min. The lanai was amazing and we spent a lot of time there, watching whales spout. Thanks to the owners for a great stay!

Love that view!

Having an ocean view is spectacular. You can relax on the lanai surrounded by natural beauty. Whether a bright sunny day, a cloudy day, or a rainy day, it's always gorgeous. We enjoyed the walkability to the beaches and pool. My Mom liked strolling over to the wooden swings at the Hyatt next door. The boogie boards were much appreciated by my spouse and 16-yr old daughter. We had to laugh at the one rooster who would start his serenade quite early then continue throughout the day. Well-appointed kitchen and plenty of towels/bedding. Handy to have the full laundry room as well. Can't beat the location and view! Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful Place

We absolutely loved the views from the lanai, we were out there every morning and evening. Lovely breezes and the house was very comfortable to stay in. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Close to farmers markets, food trucks and beaches. We had a really fun time at this rental unit! Thank you!

The most amazing stay!

This property was so amazing on so many levels. My family’s personal fav was the gorgeous view of the ocean (especially with the perfect upstairs Lanai to see it). Another amazing aspect was how centrally located the house is. You are walking distance to food places, the grand hyatt, beaches, tennis courts, and not to mention, the house had rackets and beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, bags, and even games)!! 10/10 recommend and already want to come back here :)

Wonderful return!

We loved our stay at this house! Raff is so easy to work with, and the house is lovely. The view from the patio is one of our favorites. The house is perfectly set up for our family of 4 plus a set of grandparents. We've stayed at this house in the past when it was under previous ownership, and the improvements since then are so nice! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place and wonderful stay

This is an excellent place to bring your family to. The house alone is in a beautiful location overlooking the the ocean. The home decorations also makes it very inviting. Every morning we were up on the second floor lanai watching the sunrise while sipping coffee. The kitchen area is well stocked for cooking and grilling. We will definitely look at staying here again. Raff made himself available to us and responded quickly when reached out to him. Thankful for this stay and their hospitality!

Paradise

We had such a great stay in Jessica and Raff's house. The location is perfect with a view of the ocean. We just saw a whale spout from the deck! The beds and linens are very comfortable, always a big plus for me. The kitchen is well equipped. When we had an issue, the owners were very quick to respond and resolve. I highly recommend this house.

Wonderful stay

My family had a wonderful time at this lovely house. The house was very clean when we arrived and the view from the lanai of the ocean was awesome! The surrounding property was nicely maintained as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for breakfast and dinners. The master bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and we loved the walk in shower! The location was very convenient for snorkeling at Poipu beach where we saw sea turtles and a monk seal. Raff was a pleasure to talk to for any questions and made sure our stay was very enjoyable so we all thank you so much. We would love to go back already!

Serenity

We were impressed with the unobstructed wide, sunny open-ness of green lawn framed by palms all the way to the ocean. Also, the comfortable spaciousness of the living-dining-kitchen-deck area on the upper floor. Lots of dishes, cookware, and condiments, not to mention the beach toys, 2 sizes of coolers, ample towels, and also a soft sided wagon. It's a very quiet neighborhood, even with the Grand Hyatt adjacent, which is a plus for its lush grounds.
