Amazing hotel!

We were very pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. In many ways we felt like we were back in America. The cleanliness was superb, and the hotel staff was amazing. In India it was the best hotel we have stayed in. If we return to Kolkata we will for sure stay there.

Good value and clean neat room

The hotel is simple, not many restaurants or amenities but it is sufficient and clean. The room is clean, well equipped with all that I need including a comfy bed after a day's work.The price is reasonable too.

Comfortable stay at Monotel Hotel Kolkata

The hotel was very clean and excellent upkeep. Rooms were spacious. Did not visit Restaurant so cannot comment on food. Staff was courteous. A bit far from Kolata airport.

Okay for a quick stop

I stayed here due to its implied proximity to the airport. The hotel wasn't really that close and I passed many other hotels which were closer (had a late night arrival and early departure). The hotel was clean and staff friendly. A from my brief stay, the hotel was okay for a quick stop.

Convenient location - great for business travel

The hotel was very convenient for me and well suited to a business traveler. The only area for improvement was that the internet was almost always down (though one colleague moved rooms and this ameliorated the situation). Other than this it was great.

Home Away From Home

This is the second visit in 3 months, the staff (all) remembered me, some in more detail, while others to a lesser extent. The staff has made the difference to this hotel. The room was a smaller one than the last time, but clean and comfortable.

Rooms were very clean, staffs were very nice, location of the hotel was good but it was not well known to cab drivers, I had some problem with the qulaity fo the food delivered. Food was not of good qulaity and they only provided less than half cup of tea.

Monotel dose not have swimming pool.

my stay was good. it was a nice trip. But what there are showing in photos like swimming pool and gym its not happen in real. Swimming pool is like big bathtub size and gym its like small hotel room which is call deluxe room. in deluxe room they have gym. In breakfast you will have same foods as breakfast. Moreover there service is good.

Monotel, O Monotel

I was looking for a new hotel not too far from the Calcutta airport for an overnight stay between flights. Thought that the Monotel price was a bit high, but also thought I would give it a chance. It is only about a year old, right in the heart of the new IT section of Calcutta, in Sector V of Salt Lake. The staff were fantastic, the food was marvelous. The room was very much on the small side, but very comfortable indeed. And the breakfast was quite good. Finally, the ride back to the airport was a breeze. So I highly recommend it.
