"We had a great weekend at Zagreb. We were totally satisfied with the Lion Apartment. The Apartment was clean and fully equipped, it is situated a bit far from the city centre, but it can be reached easily either with a car or with the tram. We didn't meet the owner, but we were surprised by a glass of wine, some sweets and souvenirs. "

"This was a good place to stay for the location to Maksimir and downtown Zagreb, while being quiet and not in the middle of everything. It was great to have access to parking, but important to note that it's good to have a car that has decent clearance, otherwise the bottom of the car may get a bit scraped as you get into the spot. "Our room (#10) was in excellent shape and/or recently refreshed. Staff held our bags for early checkin. Airport shuttle picked us up from airport car rental and to airport the next morning as scheduled (~ 10 minutes away). Was convenient to have the restaurant on site- used twice. Really appreciated the nice functional room. Please note NO elevator- was an effort to get our medium luggages to the top floor. "

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. I have stayed here previously and had an upstairs room. We were allocated an upstairs room and I asked for a downstairs room if possible. The hotel were accommodating. We were given room 104, which was lovely but it's in the walkway and there wasn't much natural light, but it was not a big deal. The room was large with great wifi. Everything is clean and spotless and the cleaners do an amazing job. The bed is fantastic and the pillows. There is air con if needed. Power points are limited for my liking. Bathroom was also large with a great shower. This is a self parking hotel and reminds me of a motel as we have in Australia but just a little more glam on the inside. The grounds are very private. There is also a small playground. E There is a shop down the road which is accessible by walking, there is also another bar/hotel down the road. This hotel has designated smoking areas for smokers and Papa Mo's also has a small area for smokers. I would stay again and again. Service is impeccable and I can't fault this place. "
