It was a wonderful home and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were right across the street from the beach, with easy access and absolutely beautiful views. We loved our time there and will definitely rebook if we return to Kitty Hawk!

Amazing Beach Stay

This house met or exceeded every expectation - from the first walk up the steps (breathtaking view) to the tiny, thoughtful accessories they provided. We could even make pie crust and roll it out if we wanted. The kitchen was so well stocked and organized. Toys and books were there if we had children, flashlights, chip clips, matches, hairdryer, well, just everything to make you comfortable!

Great little house with an even better view

We travelled with 3 teens and this house was perfectly located. The kitchen was fully stocked with a blender, coffee makers, utensils, and lots of pots and pans. Even though this property is across the street from the beach it still has an oceanfront view! The laundry room is on the lower level so that was a bit of a pain but it was also fully stocked with everything you need for the beach! There were beach umbrellas, chairs, sand shovels, and toys. There are also 2 bikes to use, cornhole boards, and a little beach cart to take things to and from the beach. The house has puzzles, games, and a smart tv to make it easy to log into streaming accounts. The hot tub was very nice. Now for the few downsides. The walls are paper thin and you can hear easily from one side of the house to the other with doors closed. Also the list of things to do before you check out is extensive. I’ve never had to vacuum and unload the dishwasher before leaving a rental. So check out was a bit longer of a process. All in all though it was a great house.

Great location with easy beach access. This is the best equipped rental we have ever had, with thoughtful touches like puzzles, games and blankets in the lounge, and great quality sun beds, beach gear and kitchen equipment. Loved reading in the visitor book about how the owners have improved it over time, based on guest feedback.

This was a great experience. The property was just as advertised. Definitely would go back to this location. The house has everything you need, from a hot tub to outdoor shower as well as kitchen supplies and beach supplies (chairs, sand toys, games, etc). A great perk. The house is laid out nicely for a family that needs 4 bedrooms. Plenty of deck space, including open deck, covered deck and screened porch. Easy access to the beach and other local stores and food choices. I would comment the traffic on the street between the house and beach can be a little busy at times; so a watch item if you have little kids. For adults, not an issue other than some road noise at times. The cleaning upon arrival was average at best. The bathrooms, specifically the showers and the shelving in the bathrooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but all in all it was clean enough. We reported 2 very minor maintenance items that need remedying, but otherwise it was in great working order. It is well stocked with board games, books, DVDs too. Thanks to the owners for sharing this great place!

Great location and well stocked house

It was 2 adults and 3 teenagers for 2 weeks. House allowed enough space for everyone to be together and have their own space. Great screened-in porch in back and wonderful porch in front to hear the waves. Super stocked kitchen and beach-gear (should update house description as we didn’t need half the stuff we brought - nice bonus for vacation ). Beds were super comfy and water pressure was good. Good couches for everyone to sit together and watch a movie at night or on a rainy day. Some minor hiccups here and there but nothing that wasn’t taken care of by Mngt. We know the owners are in the process of getting permits but only “wish it was better” was the steps over the dune to beach, but very doable for only having to walk 20 feet to the beach. We all had a great time!

Great location and fully stocked!

Overall, we had a great time! The description was on point. The view was amazing - best one in the OBX and we've been several times. The house was stocked with much more than I ever even thought - description doesn't do it justice. For my 3 year old, we had EVERYTHING - books, toys, games, beach gear, etc. Great place for families! Only recommendations would be better communication with the manager about the bugs on the porch when we first arrived - they were pretty bad and once someone finally came to clean, they were gone so it was good but to much back and forth to get there. Also, the jacuzzi had an issue when we were there and maintenance was on top of it which was great. Next time, I would recommend reaching out to the renters because consistently showing up unannounced to keep checking on it was a bit of an intrusion. Thank you for a great stay!

Immaculate home!

Our stay was amazing despite some unlucky weather. My first impression was this house was immaculate and so well organized. There were so many commodities I did not expect. The downstairs beach supplies, toys, and games were so great and such a timesaver for us. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub ran perfectly every night, and pretty much got an immediate response when I emailed for maintenance on the outdoor shower head. Someone came out to fix it quickly. Such a wonderful home! Thank you so much!!

Great view, great stay

The view from the deck is amazing and we could easily have sat there drinking coffee and relaxing all day! Short walk across private beach access to beach, which we had essentially to ourselves. House is well equipped for all your cooking needs (though you will need to bring your own toilet paper, dish soap, eat ). Beds very comfortable. Hot tub was a fun way to unwind in the breezy cool evenings. Ample beach chairs and fun games! If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay with a great view book here.

Fantastic place for families

This property is amazing--especially for families with kids. The house has a wonderful layout and a simple, stylish design. And the location and views are incredible. But probably the best thing about the property is how wonderfully well-stocked it is and the thoughtfulness of the little details: from booster seats to children's books/games/puzzles to the loaded laundry room with every kind of beach toy and chair imaginable. For a family traveling with small children, it's such a relief to know that you don't have to pack all of the small things that you'd normally have to take to a hotel or other property. We had everything we needed. We can't wait to get back.

Highly recommend

Cleanliness, size, location and amenities including grill, hot tub, beach gear, games, kitchen supplies, outdoor space, etc. were top notch. Coffee on the porch in the morning with the beautiful sunrise and pelicans is a simple pleasure that anyone would love. We are already picking a time to stay again next year.

Perfect Getaway

This house with its private beach access was the perfect chance for our family to get to the beach but stay socially distanced. There was no one near us on the beach the whole week! We loved the ocean view from the house, the great deck and hot tub. Outdoor shower is clutch. House layout was nice with big family room/kitchen area in the center and rooms on either side with jack/Jill bathrooms. Highly recommend!
