Seaside Retreat is a well-maintained 2-Bedroom, 2.5-Bathroom condo unit with beautiful decor and a prime location to help you make the most of your Outer Banks dream vacation. Enjoy close proximity to the quaint village of Duck while staying only 250 yards from the beautiful, pristine beaches of the northern Outer Banks. The impeccable decor and open-concept floor plan promises a relaxing, welcoming vacation while giving you the chance to enjoy all the best of what the Outer Banks has to offer. And while you're at it, be sure to take advantage of the Georgetown Sands Community Amenities, including a Community Pool, Tennis Court, Community Beach Access, and Grill Area.

Enter in through the Ground Level where you'll find plenty of parking for your unforgettable Outer Banks vacation to begin. There's an easily accessible Laundry Room just outside of the condo where mid-week washes are easy as pie, making rinsing off those beach towels a quick and easy task to get you back out into the water sooner! And speaking of the water, since this unit is just a 3-minute walk from the beach, you can truly enjoy the pristine beaches of Duck anytime you want! Seaside Retreat's great location also ensures that you will be able to walk to the unique shops, fine and casual dining spots, and multiple area attractions in the village of Duck. No more worrying about traffic when you can take advantage of the walking/biking trail nearby that meanders through the village. And when you're ready for some freshwater fun, head on over to the Georgetown Sands Community Pool* or start a game on the Tennis Court before whipping up your favorite fresh, local seafood in the Grill Area.

Make your way up to the Middle Level of this condo where you'll find a fantastic Living Area with a Flat Screen that's perfect for catching up on your favorite shows on a rainy day. Relax on the cozy furniture before popping over to the fully-equipped Kitchen with all modern appliances and a pass-through Counter Bar that's perfect for preparing a delicious seafood feast for the whole family to enjoy. Eat at the cozy Counter Bar or enjoy your time together in the open-concept Dining Area with seating for 4. A Hallway Half-Bathroom keeps everyone comfortable during your stay. And when you're ready to enjoy the brilliant sun and salty breezes of the Outer Banks, step out onto the Furnished Sun Deck where you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee in the morning or watch the stars appear in the sky after a long day of exploring the Outer Banks.

When you're ready to get some rest, head upstairs to the Top Level where you'll find 2 Master Bedrooms that are perfect for giving everyone in your family group some privacy while they rest up for another day of adventures. Settle into the Queen Master Bedroom with a TV and Deck Access for ultimate relaxation and comfort while the beautiful Private Bathroom adds a little bit of richness to your stay. The nearby Master Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and a Private Bathroom keeps everyone close while giving the kids or other adults their own private space.

Duck consistently ranks high on the Travel Channel's annual America's Best Beaches list and has been on the best beaches list since 2000. Drive, bring your bikes, or walk on the pedestrian path to downtown Duck and enjoy all the town has to offer. This convenient location puts you less than 1 mile away from the Village of Duck where you'll find fresh seafood, a gourmet market, a produce stand, women's boutiques, bike rentals, amazing restaurants, water sports gear and outdoor clothing, great bookstores, toy stores, art galleries, gift shops and so much more. All of the stores are locally owned and operated and so close together that shopping can be an all-day event on foot! Scarborough Faire Shopping Center features unique shops and eateries, and also delicious restaurants like Fishbones Raw Bar & Restaurant and Roadside Bar & Grill! For more upscale dining there is the Blue Point Grill, the Paper Canoe, and the Sanderling Resort. Or opt to head South to the Aquarium and have lunch on the way back at Johns Drive-In, a classic drive-in shack (open May-October) specializing in thick milkshakes, burgers, and fried fish sandwiches located at milepost 4.5. Go North to visit the lighthouse, play a round of Mini Golf, enjoy some ice cream or see the Wild Horses of Corolla, take lots of pictures but remember not to feed the horses!

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. All around nice trip. Easy check in/checkout. Unit was ready early; texted to let me know i could get in early— this was HUGE because the weather was crummy. Love breakfast at first light breakfast and burger.
